The AHA-2930U is an ideal way to connect your Macintosh to a wide array of peripherals, including removable-cartridge drives, hard disk drives, scanners, CD-Recorders, and DVD drives. It has an Ultra SCSI interface and features data transfer rates of up to 20MB per second. Its onboard PhaseEngine RISC processor offloads I/O command processing from your PowerPC processor, resulting in faster file operations and smoother video playback. In addition, you can daisy chain up to seven internal or external SCSI-1, SCSI-2, Fast SCSI, or Ultra SCSI devices to this one card. It has one 50-pin high-density female external connector and one 50-pin standard male internal connector.
