Advantages: 750GB, 7200rpm, Hi-Speed USB, Very reliable & Easy To Use Disadvantages: None
...The Buffalo Drive Station Turbo USB HD-HS750U2 750GB is a very useful external harddrive. I have networked computers so use it for back up and storage, which makes it easy for the networked computers to access the same data from one unit.
The unit itself is well designed and looks good, its basically just going to sit next to your computer and is just a shell for the harddrive inside and for that it looks quite cool. The dimensions of the unit is 1.8" (w), 6.4" (d), 7.9" (h) and it weighs around 1.5kg.
The external harddrive lets you back up and easily access various stored files and folders without taking up room on your PC's main harddrive. This is based on the SATA harddrive technology which is for larger capacity and with turbo USB technology, The harddrives transfer rate is much more than those of standard USB harddrives...

Advantages: Speed, 5 year warrenty Disadvantages: Low capacity considering price
...This hard disk drive is designed to be used in a high-end server solutions where both speed and reliability are paramount.
The largest bottleneck in any computer system is the hard disk drive. And as solid state technology is out of the price range of most PC enthusiasts, the next best thing (after adding more RAM) is to upgrade the hard disk drive.
The Seagate 15,000 RPM Cheetah is currently the fastest hard disk drive on the market. This drive is seriously fast and very reliable, hence the 5 year warranty from Seagate. I can vouch for this warranty from experience. Unless the drive has been physically abused, Seagate will replace it.
The only downside to purchasing this hard disk drive is that you will need to purchase a SCSI controller card and cable in order for your new drive to get friendly with your current system...
