...The Gigabyte GA-8ANXP-D is the best motherboard out there in the market today, it also has a lot of package including DPS, and a Wireless LAN card. I buy this mobo for my new Prescott 2.8 GHZ hoping that this will be the most suitable partner for my processor. The motherboard includes 4 Serial ATA cables for use with either the native ICH6 supported connections, or those provided by the additional Silicon Image SATA RAID controller. The package also includes a single IDE cable, single floppy cable with a color gray, There are 9 USB 2.0 ports which supports IEE1394 devices. You will never run out of USB ports with this motherboard. The installation guide is quick and easy to follow especially for those novice users including me. ...I have this motherboard for about a year now and it is still a top class motherboard. This was bought in Pc World for about £90 and this borad is still going strong. This would be my third motherboard after 2 Aopen boards failing me within a few monthsof oneanother. (Goddamn Blue Screens) MSI is one of the main giants in the world of computer components and this board is one of the best they have to offer. This board is designed to run on an athlon processor up to a 3200. It also has: 1 x AGP slot 5 xPCI slots 1x Comminications port. 3x DDR Slots(Dual DDR 400 support up to 3GB) It also has RAID capabilities and S-ATA. This board is a serious board if Hard drives are important to you. ...After looking around the market, and getting totally bamboozled with terms such as AN7 this A78N that and NF7 the other I decided to look for a motherboard that not only had a good feature list, but one that was within my price range. The first thing that you notice about the Abit NF7-S when you remove the motherboard is the fact that it has more features than you can shake a stick at. Serial ATA support for both single and raid drives, 5.1 Digital sound with AC3 encoding support thanks to the nvidia soundstorm and of course a nice northbridge cooling fan. When you open the box, you will notice a few items here that you will not really get with other motherboards - These are a Serial ATA cable, and a serielle adaptor.
