...The Linksys Wireless-G PCIcard is perfect for adding Wireless functionality to your home Computer and is a definite buy if you are building your own home wireless network.
Before buying its worth checking that you have a spare PCI slot in your PC, installation is nothing more daunting than removing the cover of your computer (powered off of course!!) and slotting the card into one of the free PCU slots. If you are running Windows XP the operating system will detect the new card automatically and prompt you for the driver CD, other operating systems will require that you insert the CD first.

It is backwards compatible...

...I bought this PCIwirelesscard when I was first introduced into the craze of wireless networking. Its pretty basic, and slots straight into a standard PCI slot. The driver CD is simple to use as well, also giving drivers for the other wireless equipment in the KCORP range. It installed straight away, with no problems. If you are looking for a long range wireless adapter, i would certainly not reccomend this 1 to you, as it doesn't work well in a big house, but if you are looking for a cheap, value for money card, this is the right one...

...The Buffalo Wireless G54S WirelessPCIcard is a great card at an affordable price. The card boast many features which are standard to most cards theses days but the Buffalo G54S is one of the few cards that holds true to what it says on the box.
Operating in both 802.11b and 802.11g without problems I have experienced trouble free wireless networking. Its wide range off acceptable security protocols makes connecting to any access point a smooth process.
As many wireless users know poorly configured WiFi security can cause problems with connections often leading to the user option for an unsecured connection . The software package which accompanies the card makes the task of connecting to your router or access point a quick an easy task.
Buffalo manufactures there own access points with a one button interface to establish a secure...

I bought one of these cards only a few months ago. I was debating running a cat5 cable from one floor of my house up to the next and through a couple of walls.
Logic suggested to me that using a cable'd method for connection would work out to be the... more
