Once you’ve read the instruction manual you’ll know exactly how everything works and you’ll understand all the unit’s capabilities, unlike other products that have very bad and incomprehensible instructions. You shouldn’t be put off by the price, because if you look around and are lucky, you’ll find a bargain somewhere. The various functions this unit offers make it outstanding compared to the others within its category. So, if you see it, BUY IT!!!...

...I bought the Aiwa NSX-S555 about a year ago, and have been very pleased with its performance.
The system only cost around £180, but had the following features
3 CD Multichanger
Twin tape decks
AM/FM Tuner
4 - ways speakers with Sub Woofer
Preset Graphilical Equalisers
Optical Output
It sounds very good, and the large sub woofer pumps out some very good bass. It is a little lacking in the high range sounds, there is the option of adding some more speakers to fix this, although I am not sure where to purchase them.
The 3-CD changer is very good, and saves a lot of time with swapping discs. I have found the optical output very useful for recording on to Mini Disc, it produces a good quality copy.
This is a great system for the price, it is reliable too, I have used it every day for over a year and I have never had any problem...

COMFORT
Velor sponge ear and head pads. What more should i say, they feel very nice to wear. The pressure to keep them on the side of the head is firm enough to make them feel secure but once again, very comfortable.
