A powerful and flexible KVM-via-IP product contained with in a palm sized unit, the AdderLink ipeps enables computer access from anywhere in the world, securely and remotely via the Internet or corporate network. The AdderLink ipeps uses Real VNC client software that is specifically designed for secure, high performance KVM via IP applications. Despite its small size, there is no compromise in the performance of the AdderLink ipeps. By using Adventiq Inside on-chip KVM-via-IP technology, an extremely high performance solution can be contained in a compact unit. For Enterprise KVM solutions the AdderLink ipeps provides a non-blocking global solution by providing each computer with a dedicated KVM-via-IP engine. This can be enhanced by using the ADDER.NET Enterprise management software that provides a centralized and secure user access management interface. Increasing numbers of computers are being used in remote, stand alone applications such as ATMs and digital signage play out devices. The incredibly small size of the AdderLink ipeps makes it perfect for remote management and control of dispersed computers, meaning that many tasks that would have required an expensive site visit can now be done from anywhere.

The CS1774 is a small but pleasingly heavy device that support up to 4 different computers. As well as the basic KVM function, it also includes a 2 port USB hub, stereo out and microphone in and an Ethernet hub that accepts both 10 and 100Mbps links.
The kit includes a full compliment of leads for 4 PCs, a firmware upgrade cable, external PSU and full printed manuals along with a quick start guide.
The build quality is excellent with quality connectors and a solid metal case. The CS1774 is well designed with all the leads connecting at the rear except for two USB ports making it easy to keep everything nicely tided away. ...I've just installed this great keyboard and mouse wireless set.
It is great - the mouse is optical and the keyboard, well made.
One vital piece of information: this keyboard works seamlessly with a KVM. I have a Belkin 2 port KVM and it set up perfectly.
Some of the Logitech wireless sets do not support KVMswitches and in fact one in particular does not have a "scroll lock" key - which is the hot-key for switching between the computers connetced to the switch.
So, in short, if you are looking to have a wireless keyboard and mouse and need a PS/2 connection and are using a KVM (Belkin or otherwise) and are on a budget - you simply cannot go wrong with this set....

...I've had this KVMswitch for a number of years now, since my previous one only had two ports. I found this one fairly cheap somewhere. You're supplied with all the VGA and PS2 cables for each of the 4 connections. You can then plug these cables into your computers. The button on the top allows for quick switching.
But as well as using the button for switching between computers, you are also able to use keyboard shortcuts. These are pretty common in KVMswitches, and belkin manage to do it the same way as everyone else. Great for people that are already used to using a KVMswitch. The KVMswitch has a useful beep, which can be helpful to understand when a command was received by the switch.
The switch also has a port for plugging in power. This helps improve the quality of the picture as there is more power behind it. Most of the time...
