For applications that require serial to be extended as well as keyboard, video and mouse, this cable makes the serial connection between a PC and the AdderLink transmitter unit. Ideal for touch screen and similar remote RS232 applications.
Advantages: No cables, long battery life Disadvantages: Not so good keyboard feel, rather expansive
...I've got to say, right up front, that mouse and keyboard cables don't bother me. Sure, mouse cables can occasionally snag in the middle of a hectic game, and the keyboard curly cord is one more cable in the mess behind my computer, but really, I'm OK with it. It's not a problem. I'm happy.
Getting the Cordless Desktop going is simple enough. The receiver's five foot colour-coded leads terminate in PS/2 connectors, and there are adaptors included for a standard 5 pin DIN connector for the keyboard and a 9 pin serial plug for the mouse. So you should be able to hook up the receiver to any IBM compatible.
Overall the main disadvantage of the keyboard is the feel it has. I especially found the keys hard to press when typing, maybe this has a limit to how fast you can type, I am not sure. However if people are able to put up with this 'feel...

Advantages: Looks great used in case with window. Disadvantages: Mine had a faulty onboard SATA controller
...This board is quite straight forward to assemble and comes with all the cables and screws you need. I ended up sending mine back as it couldn't detect the Serial ATA hard drive I connected. The shop tested it and confirmed that the m\b was faulty. While I had it, I noticed that even while idle it reported a cpu temp of 56 C which is a little on the warm side. While checking numerous forums on the internet in an effort to resolve my SATA problem I found other people reporting the same issues regarding SATA and temp. The m\b has a very user friendly way of flashing the Bios but because the board is so new I noticed that Gigabyte were bringing out a new version of bios almost every month which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in how well tested the product was before launch. One very helpful feature was that all the connections were...

Advantages: Dual Channel Memory Controller, Sound-Storm with digital output, Serial ATA support, Great Overclocking Disadvantages: South-bridge can sometimes get a little warm
...After looking around the market, and getting totally bamboozled with terms such as AN7 this A78N that and NF7 the other I decided to look for a motherboard that not only had a good feature list, but one that was within my price range.
The first thing that you notice about the Abit NF7-S when you remove the motherboard is the fact that it has more features than you can shake a stick at. Serial ATA support for both single and raid drives, 5.1 Digital sound with AC3 encoding support thanks to the nvidia soundstorm and of course a nice northbridge cooling fan.
When you open the box, you will notice a few items here that you will not really get with other motherboards - These are a Serial ATA cable, and a serielle adaptor. This adaptor allows you to use an IDE based hard-drive on the serial ATA channel and thus use a thinner cable...
