"Addison Lee- Stylish and fast"

When ever I go to London, I make sure that on the other side there will be an Addison Lee taxi. The service is excellent. When you place and order on your mobile phone, you will recieve a text message giving you your taxi's colour, registration plate and driver hours immediately. The only problem with the service is that you can't pick it at the taxi ranks, you have to meet them somewhere else out side the stations ground. But the often short walk is worth it.

When you get off the train to find your taxi, your driver at first contact will get out to help you. It is really easy to spot the cars because they are covered with Addison Lee all over, and ALWAYS black and in a people carrier form. Your taxi driver will kindly put your stuff in the boot of his car, open your door for you, then when you have your seatbelt in, he will go. The cars are always within half a year old because they replace them twice a year. The company also have wheel chair services. Just make sure you phone up and say this before booking so one of their special wheelchair cars can come. I had to do this with my grandmother (RIP). They have a special trolly lift in the boot which will lift them up into the car. Inside for disabled people are secure straps for a pleasant ride

Inside the car, your taxi driver will ask you what type of music you would like on (ask any genre, they will have it on their special taxi CDs) and he will inform you that there are new magazines and newspapers. The drivers are lovely too. They are nice in conversation. One thing people don't like/like about Addison's is that you cannot smoke on board. So get ready the nicorette gum because they are totally strict and none of the taxi drivers are allowed at all to do this.

When you get to your destination, the taxi company are normally a lot cheaper because it is a set amount. If I was to travel to Waterloo from St. Pancreas during Rush Hour in an average taxi, it would be 15 pounds. In Addison Lee's, 8 pounds, and the taxi driver is very apoligetic when this happens.

They have an on board credit card machine I should note, and also they accept cheques, euros, dollard and pounds.

The drivers are lovely too. They are nice in conversation.

I am a London licensed taxi driver (black cab) and would kindly just like to say that the fare from St Pancras to Waterloo is £8-10 and not £15, even during rush hour.

Very good op. I travelled with them with a few friends to Heathrow Airport. They were very professional and didn't get annoyed that we had so many suitcases!

Had heard about them but didn't have a clue what they were. Understand now.
