Advantages: Very clearly written and very readable. Disadvantages: althought if gives a few new rules, its mainly for the roleplayer, not the roll-player

I love the game, and I chose to buy this because I was finding that most of my players were all doing the same thing, they were viewing all of their characters as just a collection of skills, and while this is true in many roleplaying games, it is especually easy to do it in earthdawn.
This book was great, it gave both me and my player a look at wht the various classes could ... ...for characters to power up all of their weapons, instead he became a pillar of the community, a single person that you knew you could trust with out ever having to worry that they won't be there if they said they would.
The book does this for each and every classfrom the main book as well as the scout from the companion.
