Didn't come out of the tube! Advantages: None Disadvantages: Completely lacking in functionality I bought the unibond no more nails ultra instant grab power exterior product from a well known diy store. When I got the product home I found it wouldn't come out of the tube despite a fair amounf of effort. In the process I nearly broke my cartridge gun. Perfect for all the DIY virgins! Advantages: Revives tilework cheaply. Disadvantages: None. ...will now review is " Unibond anti mould grout reviver, ice white" Ok, so you were probably expecting some amazing new fangled piece of equipment after that build up, but trust me, this product performs miracles. When we moved into our home, over 5 years ago now, we noticed how much tile work there was in the bathroom and the kitchen. Now anyone who has tiles in these areas will already be aware of how quickly the grout between these tiles can discolour ... ...whole "toothbrush and bleach" trick to clean them up, but as far as I can gather they are of an age where they are just not going to go that white anymore, no matter how hard I scrub, this is where this reviver comes into play. Stick with me:) Advantages: Sticks paper and card well. Easy to use, Cheap Disadvantages: Not for heavier items, hard to pull off lid! ...That is where this lovely Bostik Quick Stick comes into the equation. Bostik: **** They are a very well known company around the world for its DIY adhesives as well as the domestic glues. They of course make the famous 'Blue Tac' that many of us use every day. They also make many products for use in the building trade such as tile adhesive, cement additives and silicones. So they are not little guys when it comes to this sort of product! Glue fit for a queen... Advantages: Can be used for just about everything Disadvantages: Dangerous if used while drunk ...broken pair. I bought some Loctite from WH Smith, at a cost of £3.49, which was rather expensive, I thought, but it turned out to be cheap in the long-run. When I got home, I applied a thin layer to the sole and it stuck within seconds. You do need to concentrate, however, otherwise your fingers will be stuck together forever, and will drive you ga-ga. Sticking stick Advantages: It sticks Disadvantages: Not good for heavy items ...over the stick is the Bostik logo. There is a yellow turn up and turn down mechanism at the bottom which makes the actual glue stick move up or down. Younger children are usually quite fascinated by this, and at first twist the glue right to the top, but once the initial attraction has worn off, are usually quite sensible about the whole activity. So, a simple twist moves the glue so that it can be used; twist in the opposite direction, and down ... ...only for the very small Bostik sticks. HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? That depends on useage and how well you look after it. If you use it infrequently and put the top back on carefully after use, then it lasts ages.
