Me being a miser with money I buy shower products that have to be used by the whole family. Do I really care if my husband smells like a woman when he uses the family shower wash. It’s two females against one man in our house, so we win hands down.
That was until my elder daughter came to visit. You know what it’s like when your grown up kids go to the bathroom, they have a good nose around the bathroom and the cabinet. Why I do not know.
My daughter came downstairs after visiting the bathroom and asked a simple question. Why hasn’t Dad got any mens' toiletries? I explained to her it’s one for all.
The very next day she called round again, this time she had with her a present for Dad. (Kids can be thoughtful sometimes)
The
present was of course Adidas shower gel (sport) This is my or should I say her conversation with me. MUM, it’s a man thing, it wasn’t that dear. It only cost £2.49 from Boots the chemist. I know dad will love it.
That night hubby came home, well chuffed he’d had a present, he went for a shower straight away. When he’d finally finished and opened the bathroom door, the smell of this Adidas gel came wafting onto the landing. It was a lovely smell. Manly and fresh smelling, but not to over powering.
When I got up close to him and sniffed at his bare flesh, I couldn’t resist it (the smell that is) he smelt kind of like a fresh pine tree. With most shower gels the smell fades off your body quite quickly, this didn’t he still smelt good a few hours later. I do believe that sell different fragrances suited to different occasions. The one that our daughter bought was called sport, so I imagine that you use this if you want to give off that sporty image.
I decided I would have to sample it myself. I jumped in the shower and put a good sized blob onto my sponge this particular one we have is green gel. It lathered up like a dream plenty of bubbles (I like bubbles) I didn’t have to put any more onto my sponge one good blob did the lot. Even after I had finished there was still loads of bubbly stuff in the sponge.
You can wash your hair with this shower gel, I chose not to as I like my Pantene. My husband did use it on his hair and it seemed to work well. His hair didn’t go greasy no more than if he had used shampoo.
Now I smell manly and fresh like a pine tree. I couldn’t stop smelling myself it’s addictive. The other results. I am not knocking it. For men it is great as their skin is tougher than ours. Or is it that we like that extra bit of pampering. I myself prefer things like Dove as it has got dissolving massage pearls and moisturising cream that stimulates and conditions your skin. Dove makes your skin feel softer. Adidas just made my skin feel clean and smell nice of course.
The bottle of the sport shower gel is darkish green (It doesn’t match my bathroom) It’s a plastic bottle with a flip top. It’s not a round bottle it’s a flat bottle. On the sides of the bottle there are grooves for your fingers, thus giving you a better grip when your hands are wet and soapy.
If you get any gel into your eyes rinse out with lots of water.

The ingredients are listed, handy if you have allergies to certain products. I will give a quick run down of them. Water…Sodium laureth sulfate…Cocamidopropyl betaine…Fragrance…Polyquaternium-7…Hydanton…sodium chloride…Disodium edta…Methylparaben…Menthol…Panthenol…Propylparaben…Citric acid…FD&C yellow no 5 and blue no 1.
Will I buy it in future. Yes definitely for my hubby, even if it just for the smell of a nice fresh man. I will be trying the other fragrances as well, if they smell as good as this one I will be very happy.

Before he got this shower gel, did your husband use Dove with massage pearls and moisturising cream then ? :) Ingrid

I'm still operating a one for all policy - buy your own smelly stuff! sounds nice though, might recommend it!
