Adios has been on the shelves of pharmacies for several years now and seems to be here to stay. Being a girl, and prone to the occasional yo-yo-diet, you name it I’ve tried it!
I first got Adios a couple of years ago when I met my (now ex) he wanted this perfect size 8 girl that he could be proud of to take on his motorbike, but liked my personality. So, being a vain 17 yr old I decided I was going to loose weight for him, if that ... ...in hand…Adios! After I said adios to him, I went straight back to a size 16 and there I stay till 6 months ago when my life turned around…for good! After being single and fed up for over 4 years, I was starting to think I would never meet anyone else, ever again and sadly got even more depressed. I first got Adios a couple of years ago when I met my (now ex) he wanted this perfect size 8 girl that he could be proud of to take on his motorbike, but liked my personality. So, being a vain 17 yr old I decided I was going to loose weight for him, if that wasn’t love I don’t know what is!!! Sure enough with hardly eating anything, biking 15 miles a day, running and of course, taking Adios, I went from a size 14/16 to a size 10 in 3 months! Looking back, I was insane and regret every minute of it since he is now married and I instantly put the weight back on with depression (which can happen when you loose so much weight all at once)
Anyway, back to the matter in hand…Adios! After I said adios to him, I went straight back to a size 16 and there I stay till 6 months ago when my life turned around…for good! After being single and fed up for over 4 years, I was starting to think I would never meet anyone else, ever again and sadly got even more depressed. Then out of the blue, when out with some friends, I met a friend of a friend who was a friend of a friend! (you get the idea!) and he has completely changed my world.
We are both determined to loose the slight floppy-bits and now have a competition going between us!! So, not wanting to be beaten by a man, I remembered the effect Adios had and quickly went out to buy a pack at Superdrug. After trying Slim-Fast, which was disgusting and didn’t work! I went back to Adios and here I stay.
As stated on the pack, it only works as part of a calorie controlled diet, and trust me, it has to be calorie controlled. As part of the depression I drank, shall we say, more than the recommended daily amount for females! Which, as many of you will know, wine contains a lot of calories in each glass. As a result of the drinking, I put on weight and couldn’t get it off because I was still drinking, Adios or no Adios it wouldn’t budge!!!
After being told I would damage not only everything inside me, but also my chances of ever having kids if I didn’t stop I decided enough was enough and cut right back on drinking alcohol. Now I only have 2 glasses at the most with a meal and feel its enough.
As a result of not taking in as many calories, the weight instantly started to drop off. I felt brighter and more awake. This was about 4 months ago and am so glad I did. At this point I was still taking Adios to help it along a little faster. And that it sure does do. Combined with exercise, and a healthy diet and, sadly, no snacking unless its fruit I have lost just over a stone in 6 weeks. Going from a tight size 14 to a tight 12 and unfortunately with a hefty credit card bill of clothes shopping!! I don’t feel like I did last time I lost the weight. I feel much more in control and determined for it not to go back on again…ever!!
You have to take 1 Adios pill 3 or 4 times a day with meals, I only take it 3 times sometimes 2 depending on whether I remember or not! They are very easy to take and are the size of a Nurofen tables, little round thing with a sugar coating. I believe you can take them without water but I haven’t tried this and always drink lots of water with them.

The ingredients are:- Butternut, Dandelion root, dry extract of Boldo and dry extract of Fucus.
After a little research this is what I found out about the different ingredients:-
Butternut:- This is not to be mistaken for Butternut Squash but instead comes from the Juglans cinerea tree or the Butternut tree or is sometimes known as White Walnut tree that is native to eastern USA. However, if you have a nut allergy, don’t panic, they don’t use the nut part of it in these tablets. Just the bark.
Dandelion Root:- it is sometimes used as an appetite stimulant and is also used to treat some digestive disorders. The root contains bitter glycosides, tannins, triterpenes, sterols, volatile oil, choline, asparagin, and inulin. The bitter compounds found in both the leaves and the root help stimulate digestion and are mild laxatives ( this is true!!!)
dry extract of Boldo:- Boldo is an evergreen shrub which is native to Chile and only the leaves are used in medicines. Boldo is a widely used herb for weight loss and can often be bought as 100% Boldo but is generally combined with Dandelion root and some other herbs. Boldo is known to relieve excess fluids by a diuretic (make you go to the loo more!) and is also used to control the metabolism.
dry extract of Fucus:- Fucus is a brown seaweed (alga) that can be found on coasts of the Atlantic. Focus has been reported to have a direct effect on metabolism and how the body deposits cellulite.
So, take on pill and you’ve been around the world in seconds!! I think they’re treading a very fine line here when they say they are ‘herbal’ as I didn’t think a tree was a herb or seaweed for that fact! But thy must have proven it somehow.
_________________ Side effect:- ___________________
There are no known side effects to adios however many have found that they can make you go to the loo a bit more than normal. I also find this but only because I drink over 2 litres of water a day, where else does it go?!
_________________ Taste:- ___________________
There doesn’t seem to be any taste to them at all. Although I haven’t sucked one, as you’re not supposed to! But the coating is nice and sweet and doesn’t taste disgusting at all. They also don’t repeat on me which is quite important especially when I’m at work!
I think I’ve mainly covered this heading already. But to summaries, if you stick to a calorie controlled diet and get lots of exercise, then they are very effective.
Its mainly off my stomach I’ve lost the weight which is great as that is were the problem was! But this might also have been assisted by doing millions of sit-ups and running!
_________________ Price:- ___________________
They don’t seem to be ‘cheap’ anywhere. Although I think they were about £9.80 in superdrug and are about £9.99 at boots. Not a major saving though. They are sometimes on bogof offers in boots so its worth looking out for.
_________________ Where to buy them from:- ___________________
www.naturesmax.co.uk sell them for £10.95 www.reachpharmacy.com for £8.99 www.Boots.com for £8.99 also
and many other pharmacies and some supermarkets.
_________________ Packaging:- ___________________
They come in a nice bright green box with the words Adios boldly printed on the top, front and sides. There is no chance of missing what they’re called!! Inside the box is a little plastic container with a little flip and clip lid. I don’t find the lid is all that secure so I keep them in the box to save them spilling out everywhere. But the little container is very small and compact and easily fits in a handbag (depending on the size of the bag of course!) There is 100 tablets in the box and on 3 a day it’s a months supply (roughly).

Advantages: you will lose weight in the short term Disadvantages: Diarrhoea, tiredness, chronic dehydration, headaches
...want to lose weight and Adios will help you right? here are a few things to consider.....
I have worked in the health and fitness industry for many years, I also studied nutrition as part of my degree programme at Southampton University. Being interested in all things health related, I studied diets and dieting products and would like to share a few thoughts with you.
Firstly the named product which hundreds of people I train have used. Adios. ... ...it work? Well put simply, Adios is a "LAXATIVE", nicely repackaged so that it is not embarrasing to go to the shops and buy it. Thats it, simple as that. You will go to the toilet far more often and therefore you will lose weight (mainly I might add) through huge losses of water in your body. Will you become chronically dehydrated?....yes, will you have periods of feeling quite drained and weak (especially if you go to the gym)......Definitely.

It's a herbal remedy traditionally used as an aid to slimming. The ingredients in Adios help you to lose weight naturally by speeding up your body's metabolic rate and stimulating fat metabolism. Adios Slimming Tablets I'd thought they could help in a way, who knows! Where did I got them from?

Adios is quite a well known herbal diet pill. You maybe familiar with the Television advert which shows the woman throwing away her 'big knickers' and giantly oversized clothes all over her bedroom. She then turns and says 'adios' to her messy bedroom and hides her Adios Pills under some pants. You may also be familiar with the packaging. They come in a green and yellow square box and are avaliable almost everywhere, ... ...in the leaflet that these Adios tablets will only work as part do of a sensible slimming plan. I'll admit I did watch the calories when I was on these and so was folowing the calorie controlled rule. I ate more salads and fruit, as well as cutting back on breads, cheeses, dairy and pastas. But it took 3 months to loose 1/2 stone, and took 3 bottle of pills. This really is very slow, it's now november and I still want to loose just a couple more pounds ...

Advantages: Lose the flab!! Disadvantages: Maybe Not lose the flab!
ADIOS - A natural aid for slimming.
I have seen two reviews on this - one favourable one totally against it. So as I have already bought some I am writing a review of my experience of it. It normally retails about £9.99 for 100 tablets, but I managed to get it for £8.95 in Superdrug!
The leaflet states not to take it if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients which are:
Butternut, Dandelion root, dry extract of Boldo and dry extract of Fucus ... ...sodium starch glycollate, talc, pre-gelatinised starch, magnesium stearate, kaolin, titanium dioxide (E171), red oxide 17266 and yellow iron oxide 17268.
The instructions state it helps you to lose weight naturally, as it is a herbal remedy, by speeding up your body's metabolic rate and stimulating fat metabolism! Sounds good I thought!
You take them by swallowing one tablet 3 to 4 times a day at mealtimes. They should, of course, be taken as part ...

Advantages: The sweet coating on the pills Disadvantages: untold side effects
...me so I came across Adios one day when I was out shopping in Asda, I did not buy the pills at the time but since I have seen it, I came across an advert on the television about it (Adios) which was impressive so I thought I would go and get a packet.
Without any solid research about the product I started taking it. During the first week of taking this product every thing seems to be ok, I didn't seem to be loosing or gaining weight. So I continue ... ...the process.
~ADIOS~
Adios is said to contain herbal ingredients. Adios works by acting on the body's metabolism: it contains a mild thyroid stimulant, which speeds up the body's metabolic rate. In other words, Adios accelerates the rate at which the body converts food stores, e.g. fat, into energy. When used as part of a calorie controlled diet this can lead to a loss in calories and, consequently, a loss in weight. ~ADIOS INGREDIENTS~

Advantages: Gives you confidence to think you have lost small amount of weight Disadvantages: Pricey for the effect it has
Ok so im your average self concious teen; and in particular about my weight.
I understand that i am not fat; (i am 5ft5" and weighed 9 stone 10 lbs before adios) but it still is not reasuring when you are chubby and have a pot belly; and have a twin sister that weighs over a stone less than me and a perfect size 8; and on top of that calls me fat. So now you see my reason for buying the product.
I have eaten very well all of my life (balanced meals, portion control, (well kind of; im a vegetarian), 5 a day; lots of water; at least half hour exercise ( well sometimes; other times i just had no motivation) so i can never understand why i weigh so much; and am not toned.
so after increasing exercise and banishing snaking ( which was never fatty foods anyway; it was just things like cereal; and stuff) and still seeing like only a loss of 1 ...
Advantages: Quick weight loss, you may even get a seratonin high due to increases of iodine. Disadvantages: Expensive, Unsustainable diet, potential side effects such as chronic diarrhoea
I am compelled to write a review regarding weight loss pills, mainly because I get completely angered at the way they are marketed as a ?solution? to weight loss, which just isn?t true. They prey on people who are sometimes at the end of their tether regarding their own battle with the bulge and are perhaps enticed into thinking that pills such as these are the answer to their weight issues. Hopefully in this review I can dissect this issue and offer informative advise to the many people who may be in this predicament. This review is not set-out to disprove the effectiveness of slimming pills and in this case Adios Max, it is hoped it can act as an informative guide, so you know the associated risks of taking slimming pills. This is an updated version of one of my earlier reviews and whilst they?re may be an element of repetition, I hope ...
Advantages: Good hunger and craving suppresser Disadvantages: expensive
I'll be honest, I did only use them for one week because I got sick of taking 9 tablets a day. However, for that time period I noticed a difference in my eating patterns. I didn't use it for long enough to notice any weight difference.
As far as I know, they do not contain caffine or anything similar.
Pros:
I didn't get the energy crash that I get when dieting without them.
They suppressed all my cravings and I was NEVER hungry.
I didn't experience any side effects
Cons:
You have to take between 6-9 tablets a day
They are big tablets
They do not smell very appealing
Nearly £30 for a pack which will last you about 6-10 days, which is awful since it recommends that you use them for 6 months.
Although it's expensive, it appears to be the best and safest thing out there. I've tried adios, appe cidar, and a few others none ...
