Disadvantages: clothes become very linty and bobbled and loads become unbalanced

...Sorry to burst your bubble Jeff but the 10 year and 20 year warranties just don't exist. I know this because I have contacted Admiral today to arrange an engineer because my machine has become unbalanced and irrespective of the size or type of load, it goes crazy during the spin cycle. Admiral staff told me the machine has a one year warranty and Maytag machines carry a two year warranty. They are shocked to think that their machines are being sold on the basis of the great warranty. I suggested they should contact their suppliers and take them to task. I bought my machine from www.electricshop.com which has since gone out of business - wonder why. By the way Admiral want £120 just to look at the thing.... Read review

...This is one of several Admiral products we have bought and again we are very pleased with it, The ice machine which keeps up with the kids & freinds on a hot summers day is now essential.The doors do need to open fully to be able to remove the drawers easily for cleaning etc. The veg and fruit drawers actually do work as they state in their brochure. The drinks tray is just a tray and has no drain which means if used regularily it needs wiping frequently ours has been in the dish washer every week for about 2 years now and has not warped or discoloured. There is a small light in the dispenser which we use as a night light in the kitchen, a minor but handy little feature Again this was purchased from Woodalls via the "we sell it" website best deal yet again especially as a prolific buyer and recommender.... Advantages: fast drying big loads
Disadvantages: big machine may not fit where your last did

...This is in addition to my reveiw of the matching admiral ADW22 washing machine which we bought back in 2004 along with this tumbler. It has been used virtually daily all year round since 2004 as we dont use a line everything gets tumble dried, and we have a swimming pool that is invaded by dozens of my sons freinds throughout the summer and the wife always tumbles their towels before they go home and this can be upto 3 times a day in the holidays. This machine has performed admirably, I can not recommend it highly enough. although it requires a 30amp outlet to operate (it does not come with a plug) not hard to do if your able to install a bit of 6mm twin and earth cable or contact a qualified electrician so I guess it may be a bit costly to run, but there again it dries stuff very quickly.
