now adobe photoshop is something i can indeed write about, this software when i first started to use it, scared the living day lights out of me, i swear id look at and think *oh my god, what've i taken on* honestly first appearance of the userface scared me. first couple of times i struggled to draw a straight line, i was unable to find where all the different tools were, i was slightly confused that if i made a mistake i could only back step once, i couldnt understand why i couldnt save it as a picture to open in the window viewer, i couldnt figure out how i could possibly change the colors from the default black and white, i didnt even know what a filter was, i couldnt under stand the concept of it for weeks, this is when i switched to using good old paint, i knew how to use it, i understood the theory of paint, but i wasnt completly satified with the image.. so time flew by and i was finding myself looking at pictures people had edited with Adobe Photoshop, and i felt quite bitter, how pathetic was i feeling.
so i went on a search engine and i typed in tutorials for Adobe photoshop, and i followed tutorials and i can say this now, i did a graphic course in college using as my number one graphic editor Adobe Photoshop. I know what filters are now, i know what to do if i want to delete something i did 6 steps back ago, its called the history, i know how to save images in the correct format, i learnt that the paint software was awful the image paints in little pixels and doesnt give you such a smooth image, but the Adobe Photoshop paints in mathematics to what i can only explain as spread sheets its such a piece of clever software.
i love Adobe for bringing out photoshop, if you are like me and the userface scares you, learn about it, honeslty some of the art you can create, you can use it tone up those pictures which came out dark when you went out partying, you can emphaise the little twinkle in your childrens eyes, but more than this you can say, yeh the artist was me.
