In the latest installment, Adrian has to confront the issues of being a single parent, jobless again, still fawning over Pandora, and being a TV chef. Whilst this might sound a bit far-fetched it is classic Mole. Mole of course is a character no-one wants to die, as there is still a lot of scope for more of him.

Many people thought that Sue Townsend would stop writing Mole books, but again she has been inspired, and produced another hilarious masterpiece. This isn't funny in the same way that The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole was, but this just goes to show the character development that has taken place, whilst some things remain ever constant. I couldn't put this one down and utterly recommend it.
