...I seem to get through these things at a regular rate. I came home the other day and went to put my earpiece on charge when I discovered that it wasn't there. The wire ear loop was there and the ear gel, but the body of the earpiece had somehow gone missing, somewhere between Bristol and Swanage, so if anyone spots a lonely earpiece hanging from a tree send it home.
In time its replacement arrived and turned out to be this one, the Plantronics 655.
What can I say about it? it works. it charged up and the next morning it turned in on, held down the power button and waited for the light to flash alternate red and blue. I then scanned for it with my PDA phone and it found it, prompting for the security code. I keyed 0000 and the pairing was complete.

...This phone is very useful, it has a 1000 name memory which most of us would never use up, it also boasts a nice spring loaded slide for all u matrix lovers. This phone is very good except the WAP services sometimes crash the whole phone and u have to take the battery off to make it restart. Very robust considering its quite a fragile looking thing. All in all a good phone. WAP services are alread on the way out with the advent of Orange's new Videophones which have a much higher bandwidth and the I-Mode phones which are currently only available in Japan. They stay online all the time for a fixed fee and thus can provide a much greater range of content....

Advantages: Customization, Style Disadvantages: Weight, too popular?
...What can I say about this phone that hasn't been said a million times before.... nothing really, so I'll say it all again. The Nokia 3210 is an unbelievably heavy mobile that gives it a great sturdy look while still being stylish. Despite now being a relatively old phone with the advent of Nokia's newer models I still love the curvy appearance and the customisation that this phone offers, while still being relatively inexpensive.
This is a perfect phone for anyone who wants to add their own personal touch to their mobile - from a new snap-on cover to the latest hit as your ring tone to a cute picture on your screen! The weight is the only real disadvantage and I suppose if you really want to be an individual you should select a less popular phone. After a year of use this phone hasn't let me down and I would recomend it to anyone....
