After my battles and dissapointment with jungle / software warehouse i decided to buy a laptop for business use. I must say that PC world and jungle are like chalk and cheese. It was a breath of fresh air to walk into PC World. The staff there were certainly able to match my needs, wants and pocket to the laptops theyhad in store. It seemed that they couldnt spend enough time with me while in the store. Every possible laptop was shown and demonstrated to me. Software was ONLY reccomended and i never felt any pressure to buy anything that i didnt want. In the end i settled for the Advent 8740. Everything that i could ever need. 12gb hard drive, 128m ram, win98, CD DVD drive 3.5 floppy drive, 14" tft screen, cannon printer and a carry bag. Even the optional insurance was explained to thouroughly to me - a worthwile investment if i may say so. The machine itself is so user friendly it's unbelevable. The only draw back is the touch pad type mouse which i have taken a bit of time to get used to! But having said that, i wouldnt be without it now.
