Adventures of the Little Wooden Horse - Ursula Moray Williams

Advantages: Great storyline, great pictures, keeps you interested.
Disadvantages: Written a long time ago.

...story of hers is the Adventures of the Little Wooden Horse, which has been a personal favourite of mine for many years! I'd say that this book is suitable for children aged between 5 and 10, although I enjoyed it just as much when I re-read it a few weeks ago (and I'm 17!). I'm sure parents would also enjoy reading this to their children, and it even specifies on the cover that it's a ‘read aloud’ book – meaning it is particularly suitable for reading ...
...and this is where his adventures begin! I won't talk about all of the little wooden horse's adventures because it might spoil it. But his adventures include running into pirates and finding treasure, and running a race for a Princess (whose brothers and sisters all had horses to race but she didn't).
