Nestlé Aero Caramel…
Walking into Tesco for a mere few items is never an easy task so when popping in only to get some new socks for work, I left with a few more bags than expected. In amongst the bags was a multi-pack of these little beauties, Nestlé Aero Caramel. I am not usually a big Aero chocolate eater but when I saw that this multi-pack was on special offer, I couldn't help but pop it in my slowly increasing basket.
The multi-pack has only three bars inside it, which if you have the standard four person family would be rather disappointing. But as there is only my Mrs. and me, I am therefore always entitled to get the odd bar in most things. I paid only 84 pence at the special offer price whereas they would have usually been £1.25 pence. This is a bit of a saving and I therefore paid only 28 pence per bar which is far cheaper than buying any sort of singular chocolate bar.
These Aero Caramel bars are smaller in size than the usual Aero chocolate bars but the wrapping is pretty much the same with the brown colourings of chocolate bubbles with the white "Aero" writing and this one has the added feature of a golden splash of colour stating the fact that it is indeed a caramel version. There is also a special promotional offer shown on the front of each wrapper where someone could be the lucky winner of one million pounds. (Not me)
So on opening the cellophane wrapper you are literally bowled over with the strong coco fragrance of this Aero chocolate bar. It smells different from my usually favourite of Cadburys chocolate but its not a aroma which would deter me from eating the bar, more of a smell which makes me want to eat it even more.
The bar is definitely thinner than a normal Aero bar but the thickness is about the same. From looking at it before biting into it, I can't see the caramel layer at all but just a milk chocolate bar about 13cm long and looking very tempting and after my first bite I can already notice the total difference from a standard Aero. The caramel layer is very tasty but not too overpowering. The caramel itself is smooth and stringy. It states on the packet that the caramel makes up 23% of whole chocolate bar and in my opinion is certainly is just the right amount. The chocolate in my opinion feels less "bubbly" than a usual Aero bar but I think it tastes far superior.
The caramel certainly works well with the Aero chocolate and together they make for a great chocolate bar. The chocolate is creamy and smooth along with the caramel. The bar seems to crumble between my teeth and melt away to luxurious creamy sweetness in my mouth.
For a whole bar you are looking at taking in 205 calories and 10.5 grams of fat, which is quite high, but as with any chocolate bar you pay for what your eating! The packet doesn't state if it contains any traces of nuts so I would say if you have a nut allergy to either contact Nestlé to see if this is safe or stay clear of this bar altogether. It also doesn't say if the bar is suitable for vegetarians so again I would say well clear.
Overall though, I find this bar totally moreish and am looking forward to polishing off the third spare bar! If the offer is still on at Tesco the next time I go shopping there then I am definitely going to buy a further packet (or two!). For the price I paid I would certainly say they are worth it. I would even be happy to pay the normal multi-pack price of even buy a single bar on its own. I can't fault anything at all with this bar maybe I would suggest that they make it a little bigger but then that would perhaps make it a little sickly and therefore making the bar not as good. So scrap that they shouldn't even make it any bigger as this bar really is perfect.
You are getting not just chocolate but caramel and therefore hitting more than one craving. The bar feels very substantial and with the heaviness of the caramel you really fell you are having a good snack, which will keep the hunger away for a good few hours before dinner! I am rating this product exactly how it deserves to be rated and giving it a fantastic score of 10/10.
Recommended highly!

~~INTRODUCTION~~
The Caramel Aero has to be one of my favourite chocolate bars ever. When I first saw this at my local newsagents last year I was over the moon, my two favourite things - chocolate and caramel - combined in yet another new and delicious way. From my first bar I was hooked. As some of you wil know I have tried all the varieties in the Aero range, and whilst the Aero Chocolate Truffle is delicious, this has to be my number one choice.
... ...~~PACKAGING~~
The Aero Caramel wrapper is an attractive one, though not particularly eye-catching, being mainly brown and white in colour. Two-thirds of the wrapper has a bubbly milk chocolate backdrop with the word Aero written in white. The Nestle brand name is also there as is the famous catchphrase 'Have you felt the bubbles melt?' Why yes I have, thanks for asking, but I'll come to that later. The other third of the wrapper has the word caramel ...

Aero has always been one of my favourite chocolate bars, mainly because of its bubbly, creamy texture. But sometimes that just isn't enough. I want something MORE!! If, like me, you have a sweet tooth, worry ye not. I think I have found the bar you've been looking for. It comes in a brown and orangey wrapper and is called.... Aero Caramel! This particular flavour has been around for a few years now, but has just recently undergone a relaunch, with ... ...have guessed from the name, Aero Caramel is pretty much the same as a standard Aero bar, but unlike the original bar, benefits from a delicious layer of soft, gooey caramel. According to the wrapper, the caramel layer constitutes 22% of the whole bar.
* PACKAGING *
For the most part, the wrapper looks like that of a standard Aero bar, with lots of chocolatey bubbles in the background and the 'Aero' name in bold white lettering. But at the far end ...

Advantages: good layer of caramel Disadvantages: a bit on the small side
...of these bars is the Aero Caramel. I am ashamed to say that I am surprised by this. You see you can get ordinary Aero, Mint Aero, White Aero, Orange Aero and Honeycomb Aero so the next logical step was obviously going to be Caramel Aero. But I for one did not see this coming and Nestle just seemed to spring the bar on us. One week there was no such thing, the next poof! Aero Caramel. However I am not one to complain about new chocolate bars (even ... ...assume I bought one.
Aero Chocolate has been around for some time. It’s the chocolate with bubbles in it. As a child I went through a phase of eating Aero Milk Chunkies and then later on a Mint Aero phase, so I am familiar with the Aero. It has, however, been a while since my last milk Aero but I am planning a revisit.
The Aero Caramel comes in a wrapper that is divided into two parts. The left hand part has a bubbly chocolate style design, mimicking ...

...PRODUCT INFO
Nestle first brought Aero to our taste buds in 1935 whereby it was introduced in the North of England. It was such a popular product that they began selling it nationwide in the same year and chocolate history was made.

The Bubbly chocolate Aero logo is still imprinted on the front but with what can only be described as a burst of caramel oozing out of the O with the word ‘caramel’ written in dark brown. ...one i am reviewing.
Aero Caramel is what i would call an indulgent chocolate bar when you want something really sweet but not too filling. If we have been out for dinner i love to have dessert but if i am too full or there isn't anything i fancy then i'll skip it. An hour after getting home i am looking for a chocolate fix and this is when this is perfect. ***Where did it come from and when***

The Aero which I remember as a child was a bar of chocolate slab shape, however this was changed to a more compact shape similar to the Mars. This new bar is even more rounded again and is marked into five sections. It is a combination of Aero bar and caramel covered in chocolate. ***The Packaging***
Like the standard Aero bar wrapper it is white with brown bubbles and Aero written in large white letters. Then two thirds of ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "Aero Caramel"
This is honestly one of my favourite chocolate bar. I particularly don't have an obsessive relationship with chocolate itself that I have to feed myself a bar every day to progress through life; I believe chocolate is a treat that you give yourself once in a while.
Nestle have several other flavours of this range: Original Aero, CaramelAero, Dark Chocolate Aero, White Chocolate Aero, Latte flavour Aero, and Crispy Aeros. Mint Aero has to be the best in the range in my opinion; it is the most tasty chocolate that has soft contrast in taste between the rather strong minty flavour and the outer chocolate layer. This is partly the reason why I haven't quite 'gelled' with the other chocolates in the range are rather plain throughout in comparison.
Nestle has done wonders with this combination of flavour; mint and chocolate. I have eaten ...
Advantages: satisfied a craving Disadvantages: Kind of sickly, that 'nestle' after-taste
This is the first food review I've done, so I'm not too sure how well its going to go. While in Sainsbury's earlier this evening I went to chose a chocolate bar. I though I'd picked up the AeroCaramel bar, but seem to have grabbed the Aero Chocolate Truffle one instead. It's probably worth saying that it isn't the same as the bar pictured by Ciao, it's only about half that size. I believe it cost me around 49p, but I'm not entirely sure.
The packaging tells me that it is 'new' and that it is Aero with chocolate truffle (probably should have been a give-away sooner that it wasn't caramel!!) The front of the wrapper also kindly informs me that this bar (no weight is given) has 231 calories, and there is further 'nutritional' information on the back, along with the usual - best before date, Nestle contact details, and 'recycle this ...
chocolaty, pleasent
Taste- Delicious milk chocolate, melting bubbles.
**
Nestle manifacture alot of other chocolate bars and sweets which are just as nice as the aero, some of these include; Various types of kit kat, smarties, milkybar, quality street, heaven and many more.
Along with the regular Aeros, they now come in the form of; mint aeros, orange aero, and caramelaero.
The aero I had was bought individualy in tesco, for a price of 38p. They are available in all supermarkets, and most newsagents and garages. They usually range from between 35p-50p. I dont think this price is excellent but it is in no means a rip off as the chocolate is of such high quality.
Aeros are also sold in multipacks, which are either snack size aeros, or a single finger. These are normally better value for money, however as I say they dont come in ...
