Aesop Purifying Facial Cream Cleanser

Advantages: Non-greasy, smells good

...The Seaweed range by The Body Shop is excellent for normal to oily skin. It is apparently nature's most completely balanced nutrient. The purifying cleanser and facial wash both eradicate dirt and excess oil, the freshener clears the residue and leaves skin feeling soft, and the shine control moisture cream does what it says on the label and is easily absorbed. Over the years I've tried a number of skincare products for greasy / spot prone skin, and this is the best I've found. It's more expensive than many brands, but then this product triumphs where others have failed. The cleanser is a little bit runny and can splurt out of the bottle if you're not careful, but it's easy to use: just rub onto your face and neck (you don't need much) and wipe off with cotton wool. ...Another superb product from REN. In my opinion this is the best facial scrub on the market. This is not your typical scrub and exfoliates with tiny jojoba microbeads which are made of jojoba wax. The beauty of this is that it is totally non abrasive unlike other scrubs which typically use ingredients such as apricot kernel which can scratch the skin. The little wax beads gently exfoliate the skin and then warm and dissolve on the skin leaving the skin soft, smooth and moisturised. It also has a purifying action from the peppermint oil which will help keep skin clear and decongested. It can readily be used every day but you do need a cleanser as well. ...ME: My skin was combination - oily on the T-zone and dry everywhere else. I had blackheads on my nose and chin. I didn't suffer from spots very often and they would disappear after a day or so with no treatment. WHY I DECIDED TO TRY SKIN NATURALS: I have tried so many different face scrubs, facial washes and cleansers and they have all left my skin feeling clean but totally stripped of moisture. My skin would feel taut and some of the worst ones left me with little patches of very dry skin which no moisturiser would shift (until I tried E45 - review coming soon!). So whilst browsing in Superdrug for a new cleanser Garnier Skin Naturals caught my eye because it was on special offer as it is a new product.
