I first bought this gel when my doctor changed some of my medication which resulted in rather sudden and severe acne. I needed a moisturiser that would not aggravate it and would even help it get better; after researching on the internet I decided on this. I got it on eBay for a few pounds. At first I applied too much but it was fairly easy to wipe off the excess and rub the correct amount in. It did not irritate my poorly skin and even helped it ...

Soooo sooothing!!!!!!!!!

Review of Clarins After Sun Ultra Soothing Gel

Better of with Johnstons!

Advantages: nice packaging, smooth moisturiser
Disadvantages: expsensive, smelly, orange!

My mum treated me to this in the airport on our way on holiday. If you have read any of my reviews you will know I love my fake tan!! Unfortunatly I am not a huge fan of the sun and after a short while sun bathing I tend to prefer the shade, so this seemed perfect becuase it's aftersun and it has a slight tanning agent in it. When I was younger I used to take Johnstons holiday skin and use that as an after sun moisturiser while topping up my tan! ...
...activating it's not so nice. It didn't really have much of a cooling aftersun effect and to be honest was more really like a moisturiser than anything else. I was really disappointed in the colour, it made me quite orange. For the price, it's not worth it. In my opnion this a glorified version on Johnston Holiday Skin except the price is higher! If your willing to spend this for fake tan... get yourself some fake bake! ...

Advantages: no peeling, works quick, absorbs and softens skin
