Review of Clarins After Sun Ultra Soothing Gel by
petal99
Advantages: Really soothes hot skin
Disadvantages: A bit pricey
...This product is by Clarins and as you may well imagine it does not come cheap. I am not saying that if you do not buy this your tan will not be good with an ordinary product, but if you want a little luxury you might be able to afford while browsing around the duty free before jumping on your flight or if you find an offer while walking around Boots or a department store, keep this in mind as I feel it will not disappoint you.
The price for this ... ...find a tester in a Clarins counter, (they are widely spread) but furthermore for the lovers of this smell Clarins has created a body spray for the summer which has the same packaging (orange in colour though to remind you of the summer!!) of the Eau Dynamisante.
If you want to know more about Clarins just go on www.uk.clarins.com
I would reccomend this product only because in a way I find this unique and very pleasant to use and it gives me good ...

Clarins After Sun Moisturiser
Review of Clarins After Sun Moisturiser with Self Tanning Action by
xx_wood_xx
Advantages: smell, moisturising effect, deep tan, enhanced rich golden colour
Disadvantages: £££££
...is a good thing.
Clarins After Sun Moisturiser with Self Tanning Action comes in a 150ml tube, costing between £9 - £16 depending on where you buy it from. It can be found behind the counter of most larger Boots stores or the Clarins perfume stands of most major department stores. As an aftersun lotion it is pretty expensive but I have found that each area I have tried to describe in my head to be absolutely fanastic. The smell is lovely fresh and ... ...The best thing about Clarins After Sun Moisturiser is the fact that it enhances the tan. After a couple of days of using it I found that my tan was much deeper and more golden than normal. Where I normally had little patches where I hadn't tanned properly on my forehead the tan was unbroken and really pleasing. I am so impressed with this that I'll now be using it after I top up my tan on the sunbed when it does eventually fade but I can't see that ...

Review of Clinique After Sun Balm by
Kieli
Advantages: ~The cool, soothing factor~
Disadvantages: ~The ouch factor price~
Have you ever been in the sun and realized that you were going to feel it later that evening? Such is the case of many a day here in Florida. So, as an added bit of security, I keep after sun lotion close at hand.
As a note, I have Medium-Olive skin and do not burn easily. I ALWAYS wear SPF. Even in a sun-bed. It is always a good idea to counter-act any sun-damage and dehydration by drinking excessive amounts of water BEFORE and DURING your time ... ...or Tylenol (fever reducers) after prolonged exposure to the sun. This will bring your over-all body temperature down, causing less of a burn than you would ordinarily have. Of course I have the typical store-brand nondescript (cheap lotion) in my refrigerator as a staple for others, but I tend to pamper myself a bit more. So I splurged on the Clinique® that I rave about all the time. It was a wonderful experience. The first time I came home flushed, ...

A Non Peeling After Sun
Review of Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun Soother by
ms19
Advantages: no peeling, works quick, absorbs and softens skin
Disadvantages: slightly sticky
...snap open and the typical Garnier logo. It is a hydrating milk which to me sounded good because I can't stand these sticky creams for after sun that just don't loose the greasiness.
So, what it aims to do is soothe and rehydrate every 12 hours. It has cactus extract which to me didn't sound very cooling but I was so desperate for the redness to go down. I found it quite useful that on the back of the bottle it has some answered questions. It claims ... ...being someone who usually uses Garnier products I was really impressed with this product. In the past a lot of my after suns have been really greasy and also they have not seemed to cool down the skin but sting it. I tried using moisturiser on my skin after returning home from the sun but it just doesn't work after sun is definitely what you have to use as it cools down the skin instantly.
I would say this product should be used anytime you are ...

Cover Me In Cream
Review of Nivea After Sun Lotion Sensitive by
wiggglypufff
Advantages: Fresh fragrance, soothing, easily absorbed, non-greasy, good value for money
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...I did indeed find it. Nivea Sun Sensitive After Sun Lotion, claiming to cool and soothe. During the evening I smothered hubby and myself a number of times, and the relief it brought was enormously comforting.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
So, about this Nivea Sun Sensitive After Sun Lotion stuff? Well, mine is a 200ml bottle. The appearance of said bottle is a little plain, but I do often feel costs are kept down by keeping fancy packaging ... ...bottle is white, sporting the Nivea logo, and some deep blue writing. The screw cap is pale blue.
The lotion itself is a very pale yellow, and the consistency I'd say somewhere between double cream and salad cream - nicely fluid, but not runny to an extreme. The smell is quite fruity, best described as a light citrus aroma to my mind, which is a pleasant change to the often floral or generally ‘cosmetic’ smells of similar products. The ...
