I've always found Michael Elphick marvellous, right from when I first discovered him in Private Schultz, but this typical nicey nice BBC sitcom was just too bland to like.
The story of a young, married couple, with the bloke's Dad and the wife's Mum living upstairs in the same building just didn't appeal, although I do remember watching it quite regularly for Elphick.
You knew that he was eventually going to cop off with teh stuck up Daphne againstall the odds but they had to try and keep us guessing.
One thing I particularly loathed about this bland middle class rubbish was Lysette Anthony (or whatever her name is). She was just too fond of herself as she proved in her later career.
I'm glad thsi one ended and never came back to bother us. ...

the public can vote for their favourite act.The phone lines are not opened before every act has finished performing because it wouldn't be fair. The public are given approx. an hour to vote. Then about an hour after the first show the x factor is back on again with the results.
The voting results are then revealed and the act with the least votes are then voted out. The show then continues every week until the show reaches the final when there are only two acts and then the public vote for their winning.

The winner then has a £1 million record deal and they become overnight success.The show ends the week before christmas and the winner is up for the christmas number one.The last three winners have had the christmas number one - Steve Brookstein with againstallodds , shayne ward with that's my goal and leona lewis a moment ...
Advantages: interesting stories, cheap to buy,caters for everything a woman wants Disadvantages: addictive for blokes !!!
I have a fair bit of knowledge of this magazine .Not because i buy it ,because i'm a guy but because my mother buys it and i like to read any magazine while im at her house!You might think this is sad but i do like this magazine for many reasons.
Is very informative to the male population,for example i find it gives me inside knowledge on the way women think,what they like/dislike ..etc..Therefore all this knowledge i have obtained during my lazy sundays at my moms house reading take a break that i may have actually learned something to maybe improve future relationships.haha. Afterall how else can us guys find on whats goin on in your missus head!!
No doubt the ladies love this magazine too,it is aimed at them afterall..
It is full of very interesting and varied true life stories which tell stories of courage againstallodds ...
