Advantages: very good grain, reasonable exposure latitude, and is perfectly adequately sharp Disadvantages: need to order specially, difficult to find
...the shop across the road from work suggested I try a few rolls. I’ve never regretted the experiment.
There are definite similarities between the emulsion and the various amateur Agfa films. However, the purity of colour, the quiet assurance of accuracy, is reserved for the two slower RSX professional films. There are two other emulsions that come close: the almost-forgotten Kodachrome 25 (which remains supreme for subtle detail), and Fuji Astia, which produces results that are way out of line with those of the firm’s other products. Perhaps this is why I’ve been able to buy so many rolls of Astia that have reached their sell-by date: which makes it a cheap alternative to RSX100.
RSX100 has very good grain, reasonable exposure latitude, and is perfectly adequately sharp, without being the best film available.

Advantages: Good stuff, good quality, good colours Disadvantages: depends on paper and fluid
...Ok, let’s start with the basics there are only 4 different brands of film in the world, Kodak, AGFA, Fuji, and Konica, and these 4 companies make all the others. No such make as Boots, or Safeway or Max Spielman, own brand; the only difference is the packaging and price.
So why do Ilfords etc have a catogory when AGFA one of the biggest makers on film only have one catogory and that is for 100 that few normal people use??? Anyway I will continue
I work for a company at the weekends and we have our “own brand” film on sale for £1 and the identical films in a different packet cost £2.99. Some people will swear that the latter is better film. Rubbish, they are made in the same factory but a grey cover is added rather than the famous brand name.
Ask the people who work there who make their own brands...

Advantages: solidly built, extraordinarily easy-to-use unit that offers good value for money Disadvantages: Maybe a little to simple for professionals
...The ePhoto 780c from Agfa is a prime example of the adage 'you get what you pay for'. It may not have the bells and whistles of a higher-end digital camera, but it is a solidly built, extraordinarily easy-to-use unit that offers good value for money.
This camera stands out from the rest by nature of its colour more than anything else; a metallic blue that manages to look interesting without looking garish. In addition, like some of its more expensive rivals, the 780c boasts a decent-size LCD screen (which can be turned off in order to save battery power - a brilliant idea) and a clever electronic lens cover that opens and closes at the touch of a button.
In essence, the 780c is a point-and-shoot digital camera that shares a lot of the same features and functions of its non-digital ancestors. The documentation enclosed (provided...
