HD life cam best for you and your notebook

Advantages: Durable,good stilld capture
Disadvantages: No night mode

Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 I purchased it along with my notebook. The design of the LifeCam NX-6000 is simple and elegant. Its High definition 2.0 megapixel video offers sharp resolution, crystal clear video of up to 1600 x 1190 pixels, while still images at a maximum resolution of 7.6 megapixels. Have 71° viewing angle , also have built-in face tracking function,a built in microphone which catch up your voice with extreme clarity. Interface: Hi-Speed USB ,easy to install, sensor technology -CMOS. The NX-6000's lens slides inside its frame during transport.Very compact and light weighted so it's a great webcam to take along for videoconferencing or chatting on the road, this webcam is specially designed for notebook computers. Installing the webcam takes couple of minutes, attach 2-foot long USB cable with notebook. The installation ...

Chat online? Get a webcam, makes it more realistic

Advantages: Feels like you're almost in same room as person on cam.
Disadvantages: Having to adjust settings. Shame it's not automatic

clips (quality isn?t going to be worthy of an award but isn?t too bad) I?ve used this to record my children singing happy birthday for a friend and then emailing it to her, this is such a nice personal way instead of sending an ecard! You can also take still pictures with the camera which can take up to 5MP photos. I have only really used this once or twice as I already have a digital camera so don?t really need to use this one for taking stills, although they do turn out not too bad (as long as you have your settings right) You can also take just audio clips using the webcam?s microphone. To capture video, audio or photographs you have to click on the Microsoft Lifecam icon on your desktop (or wherever you have saved it to) You can find it by clicking ?Start - All Programs ? Microsoft Lifecam. A box will appear and it will say connecting ...

Multi-Media Journalism at Bournemouth University

Advantages: Best reputation for a journalism course in the UK
Disadvantages: Not for the faint hearted - it's hard work!

I am a current, first-year student at Bournemouth University, on the BA (Hons) Multi-Media Journalism course. I felt that it was about time I told you about the university and the course, as I always have "Journalism student" in my about me section, and often mention the fact that I am studying it here. So without further ado, I shall explain the course. Location of the programme The Multi-Media Journalism course takes place on Bournemouth University's Talbot Campus. The Media School is based in Weymouth House. In the last couple of years, an extension was built on the building, and it now looks very similar to the BBC Television Centre building in terms of style. It has been decorated with commissioned photographs of the local area, as well as clever, artistic images that make you think - for example there is a picture ...
