Have tried these sticks twice and both times the ali shaft core has snapped. Saying that the feel and playability is very good and the concept is well thought trought, just lacks in the durability department. Similar sticks like coda seem to have ther same problem. If the manufacture's could improve the strength then i would def try them again. Altought they are a lot more expensive than wooden sticks , around £25.00, you only need to change the plastic sleeves and maybe the tips which cost around the same as a pair of wooden sticks. If you want to go for image then these are the boys for you as long as you dont play that hard which will leave you a little dissapointed and well out of pocket. Overall i would recommend them to the R n B, jazz , pop style of players , but those of you who play rock, metal stay away, which is strange considering the endorsee's they have from that section of the music industry like Slip Knot etc.
