I am writing an opinion about the aiptekpocketdv 11 but as this and the aiptekpocketdv are more or less the same and i could not add the specific product i thought i would do it here
I have recently aquired one of the dv 11 from america and it arrived safely but i would warn anyone who gets it shipped over there is a £40.00 surcharge when it gets here for vat so whatever the price is in us dollars add $60.00 to it and this will be payable before they hand over the package
The camcorder and all the software cost $149 plus $36 for shipping and $50 for the smart card which was quite cheap £153 but then you add the $60.00 as well and it cost £193 which is still a reasonable price with all that is on offer

There’s a small tripod (table top size) included with the camera.
Limited Mac compatibility.
Runs best on Windows 98 or above, not compatible with Windows 95 or NT (because they don’t support USB connections, however if you install a card reader it should be fine).

I was looking across a gadgets website and i came across this AiptekPocketDV2 camcorder. The positive reviews, price and the features didnt take me long in ordering one for myself. Basically the AiptekPocketDV2 camcorder has got four major features that include Digital Video Recording, PC Webcam, Still Photos and Voice Recording.
The pocketDV2 is like a updated version from the pocketDV with more features including a 1.4" colour LCD screen, Audio/Video Out, 1.3 Mega-Pixel resolution and Expandable Memory (using compact flash cards). I think that DV2 is better than the first one because the colour LCD screen allows you to see what you are going to capture before doing so. Also the resolution is greater which makes the pictures slightly clearer.
Also being able to expand the memory as although the camara comes with 16MB ...
