Am I The Coolest Around????
Advantages: Very cool on those hot summer nights Disadvantages: Expensive
...for review. I bought a Delonghi L40 air conditioning unit last year when the weather hit it’s extra hot heights and once the summer died down it got packed away. Being so hot last year we had some serious problems in our bedroom what with the windows getting moist due to lack of ventilation whenever we had a shower etc and causing condensation when the windows were closed, weird I know but that is what happened. As well as the ventilation problem ... ...the heat hit’s the windows and come bed time it is hotter in the bedroom than outside so much so I went to B&Q and spent a whooping £400.00 on an air conditioning unit but what a difference it made.
The Unit acts not only as an air cooler but also as a dehumidifier removing unwanted moisture from the air so great for keeping us cool in bed at night and good for ventilating the bedroom and keeping on top of build up of moisture on the windows. The ...

Good value Air cooler/Heater
Advantages: Good heating and cooling performance Disadvantages: Tacky design, easy to spill water.
I bought this product last year, ready for those hot summer days. We had a few hot days and I was impressed with the performance of this product. It only took a little while before the room temperature was lower and the oscillation setting definately spread the cool air throughout the room. In the winter, last year, I also used this as a heater in our conservatory. It works really well and has several heat settings. Negetive points: I felt that the ... ...blend in very well with the rest of the furniture. Also, it is not easy to move around when it is full of water - I have often spilt water from the container. In addition, when changing the water, it is quite easy to drip water from the filter. Another obvious bad point about this product is that it uses a lot of electricity - especially if you have it on for a long time. Overall, I believe that this is good value for money. ...

Freezing or Hot - Samsung SH09 Air Conditioner will sort you out!
Advantages: Whisper quiet. Excellent cooler and warmer. Ioniser. Lots of features. Great remote Disadvantages: Have to drill through the wall and have suitable outdoor location for condenser. Still worth it!!
...raring to go! The Samsung Unit I chose a Samsung unit based on the reputation of the company and also the aesthetic look of the unit. Like the first installer commented the last thing I wanted on my lounge wall was a huge beige monstrosity that belonged in some backwater office, but something that wouldn’t look out of place. I chose a silver ‘split’ unit that hangs nicely on the wall. The conditioner is a 3.5kw unit which is quite typical for ... ...are C or D energy rated. Although this was more powerful the actual energy rating is A so it is much more effective. When it comes down to electricity consumption I have seen no difference between the old and the new unit and it appears to the better more efficient cooling experience I am getting I am not having to pay a further premium for it. The unit sits neatly on the wall and is operated by remote control. When you turn the unit on a quick tune ...

Great value cooling machine (Challenge AF10000E air conditioner)
Advantages: Good value for money and efficient. Disadvantages: Not so portable and noisy.
...the same features, so the Challenge unit is simply an Amcor unit in disguise. The Amcor was being sold for 200 pounds (sorry the pound symbol seems to have given up on my laptop). It just so happen that this unit was on offer at 160 pounds, for 160 pounds you can't go wrong, eh? One thing that really impressed me was the "A" energy rating. So I reserved the unit and went to collect it from my local Argos store, the unit came down the conveyor belt ... ...features. The box was pretty large and weighed 24.5kg so it took two of us to take it to the car, you might be able to manage taking it yourself with a bit of a hula baloo but I recommend you get help taking it to the car and to your house. First impressions Well the weight was nearly half of what many other units weigh, most I have seen weigh around 45kg! The unit was much smaller than comparable units. The unit was well packaged. Unpacking ...

Breezy
Advantages: cooling, easy to put together & store Disadvantages: £££
It's too hot for me at the moment. I love the sun but as I run around in the car from school, to home, to football, to play group, to home again it's a bit much. Thankfully my car has air conditioning so it's not that bad once that gets going. Our house isn't overly hot as I've been keeping the light off during the day and haven't got all the electricals going but the baby, cats and my other half are continually complaining. I did a quick search ... ...get one of those round stand-up ones you see everywhere. During my search I saw the Bionaire. It caught my attention as it was a stand-up one but not overly large and not white. Both things I was trying to avoid! I saw that it was in stock at Comet and went there after the morning school run. They had about 10 in stock which was great as I was thinking they'd have all been bought up in this weather. It was a bit more costly then some other but it ...
