I only heard about this \"spray on tights\" product from a friend of mine this weekend, she was doing the usual with her beauty products, do you want this as its no good for me routine and i end up with a bag of goodies to bring home. She told me about a spray she had bought called Air Stocking and told me what it was. Spray on tights?? are you joking i said, lafing out loud. I havent worn tights since i found a self tanning cream that i liked a couple of years ago so i wasnt sure about this product. Anyway she brought out the can and gave it a shake and sprayed a little on my arm to give me the idea. Oooo it looks pretty good where did you get this? Home Bargains she replied, its retailed at £24.99 but they are selling it at £1.99.
As it happens that was where we were going anyway so i said id be getting some of that for a couple of quid and see if i could use it as a fake tan more than looking like i was wearing tights. So off we went to the shop and thankfully they had some left.
The colours that they had were Terracotta and natural so i bought 2 cans of terracotta and skipped off the queue to pay for my bargains.
When i got home i was dying to give this a try on my legs as id only had a little on my arm so i didnt know what it would look like on my legs. The can holds 120g of silk powder and you have to shake it about ten times before spraying, so i gave it a shake and wow, the colour is instant so you can see where you are spraying and where you havent sprayed which is always a godsend, i sprayed a little at a time and rubbed it in gently with my fingers and then did the back and tops of my legs.
There was no smell to the spray which was a pleasant surprise and to do both my legs took me probably around 5 minutes. Now i had to go outside and have a good look as to what it really did look like on.
A pair of flamin tights !!! I was well chuffed to say the least, the terracotta colour is decieving as you would think of it as a light brown colour but i would say it is more of a very light skin colour, after a few hours of deciding whether i could get away with it as a fake tan and perhaps use it on my arms aswell i have decided that it really does look like tights more than a fake tan, i will say it covers brilliantly so if you have any scars or scratches from your cat like me then this stuff is for you as it gives your legs an all over flawless colour and looks great. It also has an SPF formula so your legs are protected from the sun which is a bonus. It also says it has water-proof properties that resist against sweat and water so you should be ok if you get caught in the rain or are dancing like a maniac on the dance floor.
No more ladders in your tights and now you can wear open toe shoes without the seam at your toes. If you just want to give your legs an all over colour to cover up those parts that arent so good then this product is for you. Its made in the USA and i have only bought it in Home Bargains or some of their shops are called Quality Save. As the original price is £24.99 and i only paid £1.99 my rating is done on the price i paid and not the rrp. Or you can have a look at www.airstocking.com for information on ingrediants etc..
