But like i said earlier the planes if you have set them up right will run themselves, if you want to see passengers waiting for your planes, you can toddle along to the departure gate, and the flight name appears on the banner, and the passengers start to arrive for the arriving plane.

There are so many different tings that you have to achive. First you have to chose your player, very easy,
Then this is where is begins, you can chose which method of game to play, i always choose the free play, this way, it makes it a bit easier to manage until you get the hang of the game.
You arrive at your office, and there are so many different things in your office that have many functions, you have to figure out what they do.
You start with two planes, you have to then choose the destinations that these planes are going to fly to and from, and also assign cargo to each plane, making sure that you can deliver on time. other wise you get fined.
Once your destinations are in place and the cargo is right for the planes, (you can get help with this but you need an advisor) there is a cheat for this, but i'm not saying what it is, if you want to know you will have to ask me nicely.
Then you need to arrange the flights and cargo on the planes in the book, making sure that there is no ovelapping of gates, otherwise your planes won't leave.
You can tell if everything is ok by the red ' !' if this is visible you have a problem with the gate, this needs to be fixed.
Once your planes are fully equipped again you will need to organise this, by sorting out staffing levels for each plane, ie, pilots,and attendants, this basically runs itself, unless there is a problem.
But you will have to constanly check that the planes are running on time and and are not losing money , as this casues upset in the airport and things can happen to your office such as sabbatage,( they blow up your office).
You also need to do advertising for your airline, this can be done by going to the advertising agency and letting them know what you require, but this all costs money. (again i have a cheat for more money, same rule as before, ask nicely i may tell you).
You can however take a loan out with the bank which is next door to the duty free shop, here you can buy alcohol, which when drunk makes your mouse move in a very strange way, also chocolates, laptops, mobiles and other items.
You can also buy new planes within the airport from the plane broker, he will give you a good price, if you ask the right questions.......
If after all this you getting tired, go and visit the bar, and have a chat to the barman and his friend, they give you some good advice.
If you need your planes fixing you have to find the mechanic, but be careful as he is smoking near to a large tank of fuel.
There are many places to visit within the airport, like the museum here you can buy vintage planes for a knock down price.
The kerosene sales man , very dodgy bloke, but seems to know his fuel.
The cargo department, where all your cargo get put onto your planes.
Watch out for the drinks machine, its a bit tempremental, can give a nasty shock.
In this game you can also interact with the other airline owners, and have conversations, it s great fun.

One very important thing to mention, don't run out of money or annoy others or be late with cargo as you may find yourslef being sacked.
This game contains 16 different missions, 26 types of aircraft, 48 airports, 200 destination routes, and is also playable on a network with upto 4 other people.
Its also for use for age 3+
Like i said it can get addictive.
I originally bought this game for myself as i enjoy these type of games, but lately my 3 1/2 year old is fascinated with it he plays it for hours, i know he doesn't really understand what to do properly, but he hasn't been sacked yet, so he is doing something right.
I would recommend this to others as i really enjoy playing it, and it gives you the power to be an airline owner, and boss people around.

Airline tycoon offers the game player the chance to run you own airline business. By buying planes and flying routes customers start to you your airline and like virtually every game out there are set targets to be achieved.
Installing the game is very straight forward and has an easy interface to use. There is a tutorial which shows you the basics of running your own airline. There are four competitors to choose from. Once you choose the person ... ...you start building up your airline you need the staff eg. Pilots and waitresses. So you need to hire more staff. Each staff you hire has there own personal profile. Some are excelled in other languages so would suit a job in an airline very well and others are undergraduated lazy people who don’t want to work a day in their life. Their wages are really small but they don’t have the experience.

...I read the box for Airline Tycoon I thought I was going to get something like Theme Hospital where I could do just that but alas this was not the case.
The airport is already there and the airline is already set up, this is a management game and make no mistake about it but I have enjoyed playing it. The characters are fun and the whole game seems to be very well designed but the excitement factor is low.
You will find yourself running back to ... ...it is to make an airline pay it does that quiet quickly.
The game is very easy to use, to move around the game you point and click or double click to go faster. To get information you simply click on different items or people and its clear. The graphics reminded me of Theme Hospital only more detailed and closer up, the characters are very funny, when they don't move they start dancing. As for sound, the music was none discript but when you talk ...

...idea of running your own airline and managing financial problems and labour etc, becomes every appealing once you being to play the game. The characters are amusing and when you pick which you want to play with, you are given your own office. Each airline begins with two planes, the standards of these planes can be improved by having cleaners, luxury seats and good quality food. The game is quite challenging as hiring ideal staff, buying oil for ... ...which informs you how your airline is doing, also how other airlines are doing.
You can also buy branches from other countries, which has to be bid on by goign to the bosses office and looking at his notice board, you must make sure you have the highest bid or the other managers can outbid you. The planes must also be maintained well, for which you need to go to the engineers area. There is also a duty free, available to buy items such as a notebook, ...

Airline Tycoon is designed to see how well players can run an airport. The objective is to take orders and make money from them. That's basicly the whole game.....
You start off in the managers office. There are four players including yourself. The four airlines are Honey, Falcon, Sunshine and Phoniex Travel (how did they come up with that selection)
The airport manager explains what your doing right and what your doing ... ...sent to their office. In their office is a model plane and a globe. By clicking on the plane you can spend money on upgrades. Clicking on the globe let's you give your planes flight orders or cargo orders.
If you click on your office door your go into the airport. The airport has been designed with simple graphics. It's bright but does it's job well. All the offices are upstairs and the terminals downstairs.

Airline Tycoon involves you, a stupidly-named entrepeneur, running around an airport trying to manage an airline. The entire game is based in the airport, in which you carry out all manner of tasks: hiring staff, buying planes, meeting managers, checking mail, flight planning, all sorts of stuff.
The game has two modes: mission play and free play. I was quite dissapointed with the missions: they were good at first but more of a tutorial than a challenge. ... ...on how you choose to play (to cheat or not to cheat?), as you must pick out the best orders from travel agents for your planes to fly (you open up your own flight routes later), which takes up most of your virtual 9am-6pm day. Once I got past taking troublesome orders and starting my own routes, however, I found that everything suddenly started running itself and that there was very little for a person to do.
