SIA - Crap service
Review of Singapore Airlines - SIA by Broomer

Advantages: They spoke Mandarin
Disadvantages: Too many to say

I'm surprise that I'm not the only one. In the past, I had relatively high regard for SIA, however that's mainly due to my wife more then personal experience. Personal experience has been that their staff tends to ignore any request that I made, I over looked those on bequest of my wife but this time they've really crossed the line. The problem: we're had our flights cancelled by them three times. Each time they've failed to notify me. Each time, ...
...all they could tell me was "operational reasons". What this translates to is: petrol cost too much, too bad. We just had to cop it. The dumbest thing was that when they rebooked our flight, they've place us on a flight that we could never catch as we'll be on a flight from Tai pei to Singapore. A flight that they've changed earlier, TWCE. Each time I've raised a complaint and each time I get no response. I had to chase them up. Granted the call ... Read review

Jet airways is good over Air India
Review of Jet Airways by imwhoever

Advantages: well mannered staff, food, customer service
Disadvantages: less direct flights, small lag room

I have travelled through Jet airways on their international as well as domestic fleets. Jet is one of best Indian airlines for domestic travel, there is no doubt about it. They have recently take over Air Sahara (sahara group airline) and rename it as jetlite. So for budget airline jetlite is good option which cover many destinations within India. For international flights it is now cheaper than Air India. So always preferable over Air India. Staff ...
...flier (I am blue member while my husband is silver card member) then it is whole new experience of welcoming, air port lounge service and seat selection. We were allowed for higher baggage which was most convinient way for us to take our luggage. So after frequet flier club joining they have some extra advantages. Food quality is average and I should say it is better in domestic flights than international. Lag room is not that big but one can ... Read review

Pleasant flight with Royal Brunei
Review of Royal Brunei Airlines by ddanUK

Advantages: flight times, good seating
Disadvantages: could be more toilets on the Boeing 767 of RBA

Flew with Royal Brunei in August 2007 from London to Brunei and return. Check in at Heathrow handled by Aviance well organised. They also have some of their own staff in RBA uniform handling the operation alongside Aviance. I got a fast track through security however the queues looked very long and I felt very sorry for those who had to stand in line. Waited at gate for around 30-40 minutes before boarding, which is done row-by-row from the front ...
...taxi to the gate was very quick surprisingly, but this is at 6:30 in the morning! Not many queues for immigration which was surprising and was soon reunited with relatives in the UK. Overall a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to fly Royal Brunei again. Recommend them to anyone. ... Read review

Either a really good, or really bad airline.
Review of Thai Airways International - THA by Krystles

Advantages: Can provide great service, has new planes and flies to lots of destinations.
Disadvantages: Can also provide really bad service.

I have flown once with Thai airways from Sydney to London, in 2 legs with a stopover in Bangkok. There was a great difference in service between these two legs which overall has left me a little unsure what to make of Thai Airways ... The first leg was fantastic in all aspects. I cannot think of anything which I could fault them on. The staff were helpful, polite and welcoming. The aircraft was fairly new, with personal screens, it was clean and ...
...and dishes out quickly. It was a very different story for the next leg though. During the second flight the crew (a different crew) seemed to think their job was done once they'd shown passengers to their seats. They didn't offer beverages, were slow responding to the call bell and when they did appeared quiet annoyed at having been disturbed. The aircraft for this leg (the longer leg, 12hours) was old, and did not have the individual screens and ... Read review

Great airline without the huge pricetag!
Review of Malaysian Airlines System - MAS by Krystles

Advantages: Great service, good meals, on time.
Disadvantages: Don't fly to as many destinations as some of the other big airlines.

Malaysian air offer a top notch service in all areas from the time of booking right through to leaving the airport. Their flights run on time, or if there are any small delays passengers are informed as much as possible. The check-in staff a friendly and efficient as are the cabin crew. The crew are well groomed and their uniform has a lovely oriental theme. The aircraft are clean, smell fresh and many are fairly new and have personal screens on ...
...and very willing to help. Malaysian air certainly make long haul flights more bearable and I look forward to flying with them in the future. They offer very competitive prices to some great destinations. Malaysian Air also offer very good domestic flights within Asia. Although they're shorter, the staff are just as helpful and polite as with a long haul flight. ... Read review
