Advantages: Edge to edge support & no mattress turning. Extremely comfortable

...After a lifetime of buying cheap mattresses, when our Slumberland finally began to bestow actual bodily harm i.e springs sticking through the mattress, we finally vowed to splash out on a luxurious new mattress, as experience had shown us that in the bed department you really do get what you pay for.We also decided to upgrade from a double to a king size . Last summer we rented a cottage for a week & had the most comfortable weeks sleep we had ever had.On checking we found that the mattress was a Sealy posturepaedic ultra luxe.It was a very deep mattress with an added layer of memory foam on the top. ...Hi, We bought two Sultaan Hassleback mattresses and after once month they were sagging in the middle. I went into the store and explained this, the customer service girl said that I had a 25 year guarantee and as long as I had not folded the mattress (when taking it home, I explained that they were delivered by IKEA delivery service), I would have to bring the mattress back to store in order to get a replacement. I am going to have to hire a van big enough to take these mattresses back. Does anyone know if it is easy to get replacements from IKEA? And what if the replacements do the same thing? Can I get me money back? What is the legal view on this? Can anyone help?... Read review

...I decided to replace my bed and mattress as they were getting old and didn't look very stylish in my new flat. I decided to go to Ikea because their products are well priced and stylish. Since their beds, mattresses, duvets, pillows etc etc are all in european sizes, if you but one, you have to buy the whole lot. Not a problem I thought, it still works out quite cheaply. First up, I decided to but their Kalif Klassisk mattress for no other reason than because it was in the middle of their range - not too cheap, not too expensive. I soon realised why it was so cheap. Several of the springs settled considerably after a while, which made sleeping on it very uncomfortable. To cut a very long story short, I caused the very unhelpful customer service people at Ikea so much hassle that they eventually agreed to replace it. I paid extra to get... Read review
