Advantages: Cheap, very small and compact. Disadvantages: The "on" light comes on when it's off | Can't record | Slightly too quiet |
The Aitro DVD player is a very simple compact product, which is perfect for people either on a budget or in need of a small DVD player which will save space. It cannot record, but for around £15-20 it is still a bargain. It is very easy to install, as only 3 wires have to be plugged into the DVD player itself and 3 into the TV. It is very straight forward and the instructions walkthrough everything clearly enough.
Whilst it is cheap ... ...just as smoothly as an expensive DVD Player, as I haven't experienced any techincal difficulties to date. As with most up to date DVD players it can play CD's and MP3s. It can be a bit quiet when playing DVD's but the only thing necessary to solve that is to turn up the TV. The remote control looks fairly cheap and tacky, but it does the job and has all the necessary functions to watch a DVD without any hassle.

Whilst it is cheap it is definately not lacking in quality, it plays DVD's just as smoothly as an expensive DVD Player, as I haven't experienced any techincal difficulties to date. Overall the DVD player itself works fine, and I can have no complaints about it, and whilst it lacks some features (such as recording DVD's) that many people consider important it works very well. It is light and compact and is especially useful to put in bedrooms or smaller rooms with TV's where you only want to watch DVD's, and at around £15 who can complain?
