Ive had this recorder for about 3 years and I think it deserves a review. Its a good quality item and provides me and has provided me with the ability to playback videos, record programs.

It looks smart with a metallic blue/silver front which blends in with the modern grey TV, sky box and dvd player/recorder quite easily. The remote control is also grey with plenty of buttons to take control of your home entertainment system.

The video has a security screen that comes up when it is switched off for a long period of time the user is presented with a blue security screen that asks for a pin number on startup. I guess this is so that if the item is stolen the person who has removed the recorder has no way of using it. The video has a little security sticker on the video warning of this feature.

All in all It has fitted easily into my entertainment setup and provided me with versatility a little extra security if you like and a smart little unit to boot.
I would even go on to say this has to be the best Video recorder I have ever had, I think its the incorporation of simple onscreen instructions and modern contemporary styling
With the old VHS which use to be so bloody hard to set up to record if i remember back to the early 80s.
