Advantages: tax button, solid construction Disadvantages: none !
...I have owned my Casio DF-120TE for about 2 years now. I can guess what your saying, a calculator is a calculator . . . which to most people it is, but I use this for work, around 2000 key strokes a day, so I need a solid one, and one that I can trust.
I'm sure we've all had times when we've entered in our calculation, and the answer has appear, which is complete rubbish, sometime due to human error, but mainly because the calculator has not recognized the key stroke. This one is solid, and accurate though. It has hard plastic buttons, not the soft ones which lead to a lot of mistakes, and the buttons are well spaced.
Another key feature is the Tax- and Tax+ buttons. A lot of the time I have a price which I need to add VAT to, or take VAT off of, and I know the calculation is not difficult, but it's a whole to easier if you can just...

Advantages: No cassette - really neat Disadvantages: Now I take good minutes - can not type them up quick enough
..., menu which clearly shows all the options.
The recordings are very clear and pick up without any fuzzeness.
There are attachments for the recorder such as microphone, and ear plugs. And now I'm just waiting to get the PC (USB) terminal. This will save loads of time typing up I'm really looking forward to that.
This is so small and neat and cheap for what it prvoides. It would be really useful to have at home as well. I could leave messages/instructions for the kids I know they could use it, it really is very simple.
A lurvley device for the office and home....

Advantages: SMALL,LIGHT,QUALITY OF SOUND,FUNCTIONS. Disadvantages: None
....
Simple to operate, a' hold' switch on the side operates as on / off. A menu wheel, like many mobile phones allows you to stop/play/locate recordings with ease. There are separate record, erase, display and menu keys.
The Dictaphone has a clear screen, which displays all the information you need such as; battery life, folder, time remaining to record, date and time.
Digital technology means no tapes to replace or get tangled as with the old type Dictaphones.
TOP TIP!
As there is no tape please note that if you want to save your recordings then make sure you get the PC version (i.e. VN-120PC) as this has a USB terminal for connection to your computer.
There are three levels of recording quality and hence differing recording times.
HQ - 43 mins approx.
SP - 65 mins approx.
LP - 121 mins approx.
Two levels of sensitivity are available. I...
