This Hifi is loudish but has a good crisp sound 40W/ch (RMS 10% THD) loud enough for my flat anyway. The hifi has a 3cd changer, why i dint buy a five changer i dont know and an mp3 playback ability. This was the deciding factor along with the price for buying this hifi along with the make. I can download from various websites paid for of course and copy the songs or music to cd and play them in the hifi a great tool. I bought this hifi for £105.00 but i do believe the price has pumeted since before christmas. Bad news for me good news for potential buyers. The layout is easy to use and looks may put people off but it is user friendly and very ergonomic with a Fluorescent Displey in a light blue shade and silver pushe buttons and volume, base, and tone knobs. I forgot to mention the twin tape deck, not that many people use them now i think. The next feature is Bass Reflex 3-way Speaker System to fill your room with sound i suspect I havent quite grasped the comcept but it does sound very good. On the speackers each of which outsize the hifi are two tweeters for your high pitches and great normal speackers all encased in a silver/chrome casing. The casing of which looks decidedly space age, anyway the three way speacker questions I believe is due to the three levels of sound produced by the three various sized speackers in each respective speacker. Thus giving a larger varied range of sound then most common alternatives, I have great fun when i get time and i'm not on my computer listening to alsorts of music on my hifi the standard is good and the functionality and tools very good but the look is dreadfull. It seems tout of place next to my smooth looking tvdvd and video it is a complicated and messy look for a hifi, and could put anyone over 20 buying it. It looks to aggressive now I have bought it so I will have to make do, it is usefull except for that point it looks dreadfull I would recommend it but I think it wouldt be to the taste of a majority of people. I find it great for music but a bit cumbersom to house becouse of the big speackers which I think could have been smaller. I have mixed views but if you want a cheap high spec upto date hifi Aiwa are an ecxcellent brand and I would recommend it but I would suggest if looks are as important as the functionality take special care when you decide to buy as i could look out of place in a subtle living room because I think its more teens brutish big sound looking system.

Aiwa products used to be very popular a few years ago, you don't see so many of them nowadays though, a shame as they are makers of good quality hifi. A good op! Ciao for now - J :-D

A good start, but add some spaces between paragraphs to make it easier to read and check the spelling. Wayne
