Aiwa NSX-V70 Stereo System.
Review of Aiwa NSX-S 70 by  derek-j-a

Advantages: Good tone quality, good tape recording quality
Disadvantages: Needs longer leads on speakers - needs frequent CD lens cleaning

...1995 seems like a long time ago but that's when we bought our Aiwa NSX-V70 from Comets and, although I am aware that others seem to have given this stereo system bad reviews, we have found ours to be really excellent. Maybe it's something to do with acoustics but we find the tone very rich, particularly on its equalizer settings - I purchased a couple of phono leads and connected to our nicam Sony VCR and/or DVD player. Another thing that must be said, is that we have not "hammered" the system to maybe that's why is has given such long service. Although the original price was near to £400, I have since seen the same unit going on Ebay from around £50. The prices have come right down on these units now. Facilities: The two speakers have two sets of cables, one (twin) set for standard stereo and another (quad) set... Read review

Aiwa HS-TX486 - Fantastic Walkman
Review of Aiwa HS-TX496 by  danwilkie

Advantages: Lots of great features, very durable, good price
Disadvantages: Disadvantages? Yeah right!

...chrome shade actually, that looks very attractive with neat grey buttons and a lovely gold Aiwa logo on the top face. It also has a black belt clip, which I have explained about earlier. All in all, an attractive little piece of equipment and it will easily fit into your pocket if you don’t like the belt clip idea. It isn’t very heavy either, which is a good thing. It weighs approximately 172 grams or 6.02 ounces. The dimensions are 112.6 X 86.8 X 34.9 mm. DURABILITY ******************* I have had this product for what must be about three years now and have had no problems whatsoever, as with most of my possessions it has been dropped, knocked, and generally banged about a bit but there is not one mark or scratch on the unit, which is very encouraging. The Walkman proves that Aiwa can produce high-quality goods that do not... Read review

Aiwa gunna get one (aiwa hifi)
Review of Aiwa JAX-N 1 by  dingoo

Advantages: butch looking cheap great make
Disadvantages: looks like somthing out of alien

...dvd and video it is a complicated and messy look for a hifi, and could put anyone over 20 buying it. It looks to aggressive now I have bought it so I will have to make do, it is usefull except for that point it looks dreadfull I would recommend it but I think it wouldt be to the taste of a majority of people. I find it great for music but a bit cumbersom to house becouse of the big speackers which I think could have been smaller. I have mixed views but if you want a cheap high spec upto date hifi Aiwa are an ecxcellent brand and I would recommend it but I would suggest if looks are as important as the functionality take special care when you decide to buy as i could look out of place in a subtle living room because I think its more teens brutish big sound looking system.
