I could imagine that you can buy this system second hand or updated version and it would be a good buy.
Why this system is good?
1) QUALITY SOUND - i noticed AIWA is always very good 2) CLASSIC solid design with volume control , bass and booster buttons (on and off) mine system is light grey colour (matches all of my office desk equipment - i've got different makes but this basic not-offensive colour blends everything nicely) 3) SOLID construction - no problems since i have it. even after dropped them few times - excellent-excellent purchase!
What are disadvantages? 1) NOT FUNKY (design is dull just like middle age women like me!) 2) SOUND could be better (it would be nice to have some stereo effect - but yes it 's still too sensible just like me who is middle age:-)
