Advantages: A PC not necessary but will operate with one in the same way as a copier and printer Disadvantages: The usual ones. High priced cartridges and seemingly no cheap ones available.
...OPERATION
It also connects up to the computer and using the supplied software a variety of other jobs can be performed, including the ability to preview on
screen and adjust images before printing.
It has a USB output which makes it easy to connect and with the software provided you can switch between printers which is very handy when ink runs out. I merely tell the computer which machine to use and it prints as directed,
EXTRAS
Now bought a digital camera and find to my delight that it will take the memory card and print the pictures taken.
A proof sheet is brilliant for checking your pictures. You can also use the proof sheet to select and mark pictures and get the scanner tp print them.
It also takes a variety of papers, envelopes, postcards etc.

Advantages: small, tidy, good sound quality Disadvantages: feels cheap, not rechargable

Manufacturers say you can record up to 480 minutes long play on this, but I've not tested this! It's quite flexible as you are able to store files in three separate folders plus one that will put a specific recording in a specific date for you - perhaps to remind you to do something.
Software loaded easily and is very self-explanatory. The only thing I would say is that if you need to transcribe from the recording - letters and memos for example - the software is not adequate. For transcription you would need a separate transcription kit, and those...
