Aiwa XRMN5

...It so happened that a few days ago I had gone to an Electronic store to review the Panasonic RP VK45 Microphone & as a matter of chance happened to come across the Aiwa XRMN5. As I usually don’t prefer Aiwa products, I did initially ignore this fella and went on with the RP VK45. Read on to find out what happened with the Aiwa XRMN5!! ***SOUND QUALITY. Advantages: Great sound, very loud, 5cd changer and looks amazing!

...I was given this great hifi by my parents as part of my christmas present last christmas. I opened the box and had set it up within 5 minutes. Next I turned it on and was greeted by a helpful demo on the lcd screen which showed me all the features the hifi had. Setting the clock was quite hard but the instruction book was clear yet concies - a rarity in the world of electronics! I loaded my top 5 cds into the changer and cranked up the volume. At just 25 it could be heard downstairs and scared my pet goldfish into the corner of their tank! I think the volume goes up to 35 but have never used that except on mute because it cant be healthy! ...Aiwa are dedicated to maiing high quality audio equipment. I have been very happy with the equipment prodeuced by Aiwa, as the company have a good reputation. The aiwa minidisc, does seem to be fairly chunky. This makes it not as portable as it could be, when comparing it to sony's. They do have all the usual functions, such as track editing etc. This fact that this minidisc player is chunky, is probably becuase it was one of their first models. So if you wait a little while i'm sure that newer models wiill become slimmer and more practical. But overall this is a basic, and high quality player.... Read review
