...I spent nearly £500 pounds on a Aiwa Hifi system beliveing it was a good make and a good Hifi system.
Maybe it could have been justified if i had the stupid thing longer than 1 year!, but i only had it for 7 months.
The Hifi will not play any CDs at all, things switch themselves on without pressing anything.
My brothers brand new VCR broke without cause he had that vcr for just over a year.
My friend in college bought a broand new aiwa minidisc and that broke too he had it only for 3 weeks.
IT IS OFFICAL AIWA IS TOTALLY USELESS....

...Bought this handy little MP3 player a few months ago, and its great so simple to use.
Not only does it act as a MP3 player, but you can also use it as a normal head phone, plugs into your Hi Fi or PC...
There is also a lead that comes supplied, which again you can plug into your Hi Fi or Computer and record from that device on to the Aiwa 128MB.
The control are all on the one earpiece, which include volume, stop/start skip/back pause and record. It connects to your PC via a mini USB lead, and takes just two small AA batteries.
It does only hold abouot 40 songs, which I know most people are going to laugh at as there are plenty of others out there that holds thousands, but for me 40 is more that enough.
If you want a simple and good value for money MP3 player, then this is the one, the sound quaility is excellent, no distortion even...

...I bought the Aiwa NSX-S555 about a year ago, and have been very pleased with its performance.
The system only cost around £180, but had the following features
3 CD Multichanger
Twin tape decks
AM/FM Tuner
4 - ways speakers with Sub Woofer
Preset Graphilical Equalisers
Optical Output
It sounds very good, and the large sub woofer pumps out some very good bass. It is a little lacking in the high range sounds, there is the option of adding some more speakers to fix this, although I am not sure where to purchase them.
The 3-CD changer is very good, and saves a lot of time with swapping discs. I have found the optical output very useful for recording on to Mini Disc, it produces a good quality copy.
This is a great system for the price, it is reliable too, I have used it every day for over a year and I have never had any problem...
