    Advantages Advantages Good Mids & Highs, Feather Touch Cassette Deck, 5 CD Changer, Good Aesthetics

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Costs £148 for a Micro, Average Bass Quality, Average Build Quality

    It so happened that a few days ago I had gone to an Electronic store to review the Panasonic RP VK45 Microphone & as a matter of chance happened to come across the Aiwa XRMN5. As I usually don’t prefer Aiwa products, I did initially ignore this fella and went on with the RP VK45. Read on to find out what happened with the Aiwa XRMN5!! ***SOUND QUALITY. [3/5]*** After I finished with the Panasonic RP VK45, I went on to guffaw at the Aiwa XRMN5, but when I put in my Test CD I was quite impressed with the sound quality, but I still could not miss a chance to have a sarcastic laugh at its bass ... more

    I was given this great hifi by my parents as part of my christmas present last christmas. I opened the box and had set it up within 5 minutes. Next I turned it on and was greeted by a helpful demo on the lcd screen which showed me all the features the hifi had. Setting the clock was quite hard but the instruction book was clear yet concies - a rarity in the world of electronics! I loaded my top 5 cds into the changer and cranked up the volume. At just 25 it could be heard downstairs and scared my pet goldfish into the corner of their tank! I think the volume goes up to 35 but have never used ... more
