Advantages: Good deep base, nice price. Disadvantages: Annoying Demo mode which may wake you up at night!
...AiwaXR-H560MD is really good stereo and did'nt cost me an arm or a leg either. With 260 PMPO power behind it, It fills the largest of rooms well and has a deep ambient bass. The unit has many features such as Kareoke, echo, bass boost as well as many sound effects which change the bass and treble levels depending on what type of sound you want to emulate. The unit has a double tape deck, a three way CD changer and a mini-disc player. Its easy to use interface and using the remote is like stealing candy from a baby (dont quote me on that!.) I picked up the unit and speakers for around £200 which in my book is a real bargain for the quality of soun it produces and the amount of features it contains. Good old fashion value for money....

...The AIWAXR - EM 20 micro system to me is a great buy. Purchased 4 years ago was initially bought as a stop gap while the one i really wanted came down in price, but never got round to purchasing it, to be honest i never needed to as once i set it up and had it poisioned correctly the sound from the speakers was great actually better than my previous aiwa which seemed to pound out to much bass even when switched off, ok for rave music but not when you want to play childrens songs.
Now in a world of ipods,mp3 players, mobile music and even listen to music on your pc i have retired it to my bedroom and it still looks as i bought it. The wood and silver design is still very stylish and can co ordinate many decor schemes. To be honest i shall keep this forever as im not ready to get rid of any of my cds or tapes and the radio will always...

Advantages: Looks superb, Great Value, Easy to Use Disadvantages: Lacks Bass, Ugly Remote
...I purchased the Awia XR-M78 in a bit of an emergency about 10 months ago as although it may not have a glorious name such as Sony or Kenwood, Awia appears to provide good equipment at unbeatable prices. And the M78 is no exception. It is a very expensive looking micro-system which I picked up for around £100 from empiredirect. It looks like at least £200+ worth of kit.
The unit is finished in a sexy aluminium colour and the speakers have a light maple wood style finished with green 'dust covers' over the speakers. When these are removed, the actual speakers is ultra stylish with a chrome style tweeter and the woofer finsihed in silver. Each speaker is rated at 15W RMS, 30Watt in total between the two.
The main system unit is very neat although it does have a rather big white remote control which does not look to belong...
