...I spent nearly £500 pounds on a Aiwa Hifi system beliveing it was a good make and a good Hifi system. Maybe it could have been justified if i had the stupid thing longer than 1 year!, but i only had it for 7 months. The Hifi will not play any CDs at all, things switch themselves on without pressing anything. My brothers brand new VCR broke without cause he had that vcr for just over a year. My friend in college bought a broand new aiwa minidisc and that broke too he had it only for 3 weeks. IT IS OFFICAL AIWA IS TOTALLY USELESS.... Read review

...My opinion is that in terms of portable MD players, Aiwa has overtaken Sony. The AM-F 70 has rechargeable batteries, is light (220 g), compact and solid. The display is proportionally large. Like the buttons it is illuminated, which makes it easier to operate the player in the dark. What is a bit awkward, is that the entry of titles has to be done over the Jog-wheel. It would probably be easier if it was via the buttons, because the wheel is rather small. When the player is in use it’s pretty noisy. And the quality of the sound is rather average when you connect it to a Hifi.... Read review

...There isnt a great amount to say on this product, largely because there isnt alot to it, its pretty simple: The Aiwa FR/A220 is your typical alram clock/radio combo. It demonstrates a digital display and pretty simple-to-use operations for its programming, although, as is the case with alarm clocks, it wasnt as straightforward as the manufacturer, Aiwa, probably invisaged. It does implement some good design points in its style, take for example the flat bottom, which makes it more stable than some products of this nature, particularly with the typical morning procedure of just hitting the general direction of the clock to shut it up at 7 30am! Also to the aesthetic bonus of this unit is the detailing of the 2 ring around the display, this adds an addition to the visual content of the product. The colour scheme isnt brilliantly...
