...the awia Z-L70 is an excellent system by awia. they have been able to capture the essence of a good quality system. i have one and i am very pleased with its all round good performance, my brother also has one and he feels the same. my best friend was persuaded by me to get one and hasn'tt regreted it once which must say something. i chose to but an awia because they are a well known decent make and its one that i trust and one that you should too. the best thing about this is its size, it is small enough to be out the way but also it is large enough to not get confused with the buttons. I would recommend this to any one who like it as it would be a great addition to their home environment.... Read review

...WHEN I FIRST DECIDED TO BUY A PERSONAL C.D PLAYER SO I COULD LISTEN TO MY FAVOURITE C.D'S WHENEVER I WANTED I DECIDED TO GET THE CHEAPEST ONE I COULD FIND.I DID FIND THE CHEAPEST ONE AND IT WAS THE AIWA-XP-100.I FIRST HAD NO PROBLEMS WHICH WAS GREAT AND FOUND MY PERSONAL C.D PLAYER GAVE JUST AS GOOD AS SOUND QUALITY AS ANY OTHER PERSONAL C.D PLAYER I'VE LISTENED TO AND FOR ONLY JUST OVER £20 , I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT . IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD QUALITY PERSONAL C.D PLAYER AT A EXTREMELY LOW PRICE , THEN LOOK NO FURTHER BECAUSE THE AIWAXP-100 IS THE ONE FOR YOU... Read review

Advantages: Great performance from a budget system
Disadvantages: just the tape decks really

...I bought this system for just under £100 or £108 including postage. It was from an auction and was a catalogue return. I didn't get a mw antenna or instructions. The system is incredibly stylish and I would say its the most attractive system aiwa have done for a few years. Sound Quality is excellent especially prologic. The system is truly feature packed. Perhaps the weakest part of the system is its tape decks. One is auto reverse the other that records isn't. There is no form of noise reduction on them. They are quite basic really. At least though they are fully controlled by the remote control. Its not one of those crap systems where the tape decks are only controllable from the main unit itself. The CD mechanism is a 3 CD affair with full CDR/CDRW support. The display on the unit is fantastic with effects and multicolours... Read review
