Ajax Galaxy Washing Up Liquid

...Since discovering ciao I have spent the past few weeks sorting through my box of cleaning agents for products to write about. I remember AJAX bleach from my youth in the 1970’s (gasp), since then our choice seems to have increased somewhat. However AJAX still have association with sensible bleach and disinfectant cleaning agents. Unlike some liquid bleaches it has no strong smell unfortunately the gritty content of the bleach tends to make it more of a risk sensitive surfaces. They recommend it for toilets, tiles, cookers and other hard household surfaces. My AJAX container did mention that AJAX cream would be a more suitable option when extra care is needed. ...A way to make washing up liquid to last longer, is by squirting it in a small dish and dunking your brush into it, rather then holding the bottle up side down and letting the liquid pour down into the sink. The only snag is that certain washing up liquids seem to dry out too quickly. Why this a good idea, is that is saves on the amount of washing up liquid you use, which is very handy for people with large loads of washing up to do or those on low incomes. Make sure though that you use something like Fairy Liquid and not an economy type.... Read review

...Can you clean your kitchen whilst holding your breath? Go on, give it a try. All you need is a bottle of 'Ajax Kitchen Wipe-Over' liquid and your on your way!!!!! Don't get me wrong, the product does do what you want it to, ie clean your worksurfaces. Just spray on and wipe off and your kitchen worktops are gleaming. But at what cost? The smell is very overpowering and there are no instructions on the bottle regarding using it in a ventilated area (you will have to open a window once you have used it I can assure you). Just to describe how strong the smell is, you walk through our hallway, through the lounge, then dining room to get to the kitchen, on opening the front door after using the cleaner the smell 'hits' you in the face like a sledgehammer.
