This is an excellent product for the price. It comes with a good selection of accessories, and the picture and sound quality are good.

On the downside, the casing is cheap and flimsy, and the drive makes a lot of noise in operation. It's distracting, but I've got used to it.

It plays DVD's (you can find instructions for playing multi-region disks on the internet) and CD's. It also plays MP3 CD's, and works fine with (DVD+R) home-made DVD's.

The picture is respectable, and the sound is okay at low volumes. It has two headphone sockets (and various audio and video connections, including optical connections).

Also in the box:

- Remote Control: it's fine, but no use in the dark (all of the buttons are the same shape!)

- Headphones (quality not good)

- AV lead (with RCA Video/ L+R Audio connections)

- Battery (lasts long enough to watch a film, I've never stretched it beyond about 2 hours).

- Power lead (plugs directly into the unit, or into the battery, so you can use it without the battery, or charge the battery while you use it).

- Car cigar lighter power lead

- "car mounting kit": this doesn't seem to work very well. It's supposed to wrap around the unit and then mount onto a headrest. It doesn't fit the unit very well, and it mounts onto the headrest with two vertical straps attached to the back of the screen. You can't change the disk while it's in place. I can't imagine that many people would make use of it.

Despite the negative points that I've made above, this product is very good value. The sound and screen quality are quite sufficient for viewing, and I'd recommend it above any other portable player that I've seen.
