...features that most other manufacturers only introduced a couple years ago and it was their cheapest model at the time at £179 which was excellent for a VCR then (usually way over £200!). Anyway, earlier this year I replaced my TV (and gave the old one to my dad for his bedroom) with a new 24" widescreen one. I looked for an AKAI one online and in all the electrical stores - Comet/ Currys etc. but was very disappointed to see that no-where in the UK seemed to sell them anymore. In the end I bought a new Philips TV (which is very good). Anyway, after buying the TV I thought it time to replace some of my other aging equipment. I started looking for a new VCR (my AKAI one still working fine but unfortunatly only mono - not so good with my new stereo TV). I still could not find any AKAI VCRs anywhere apart from ones like mine that were about 10... Read review

...I like this firm very comfortable dizain good quality rather cheep and poular among the users. I use this technics for sevral years and I had not problems with it. Us for this model it has nice coloyr and dizain good characteristics of playing. I would advise to buy this product and model the people of average profit I think it will help them to save their money. Many models now have a lot equipments and sometimes it is difficult to understsand how does it work. But this is not for AKAI it is rather simple of ruling and usung model, comfortable for all ocasions in your life. You can enjoy your DVD quality with this model. You can find it everywere it is high spread in electronik stores. But I advise you to buy discs to this DVD in special markets... Read review
