Akai TX-350 Mini Hi-Fi System

So you can plug in your TV into the hi-fi, go onto MTV hit record on your hi-fi and your recording your favourite tunes from the TV. Not only do Sony hi-fi's sound great they also look great. Silver metallic plastic covers the body of the hi-fi, this may sound a bit tacky, and most usually is, but this is a Sony, so you can be rest assured that it really does look and feel like metal. now considering I brought this hi-fi in the winter of 2002 for £350 from Comet, I am still seeing it listed for £300+ on various internet sites, I would recommend it to people because it really is a great hi-fi and I haven’t seen a sony mini-disc hi-fi that looks as good as this one does. ...The Sony CMT-C5 has been on the UK market for around 18 months now and is coming to the end of its production run. The good news is, if you can still find it in the shops, retailers have reduced the price from the original rrp of £599 to around £350. At £350, this mini hi-fi system is a steal. On release this was Sony's mini-system range-topper and is therefore loaded with features and has quality components throughout. My advice would be, if you can find it - buy it. Even before it is switched on this little unit is cool. The system itself is chrome-sided with a smoky, black fascia. To give an idea of size, the fascia is the same size as a CD-case (the unit's footprint is about twice that). ...a midi system that is great for a family. if you are not a complete music freak and all you want is a reliable, good hi fi then this is the one for you. with a three disc cd changer, which is enough for anyone, tuner twin tape decks and auxilery input you get plenty for your money. with great features like the RDS to allow you to see what is on radio stations without looking through pages and pages of the radio times and setting the clock to RDS time so you don't have to sit and fiddle with buttons. there is also a news flash feature so you can make sure you don't miss the news if you are listening to cd player, tape or auxilery. a great little hi fi...
