Advantages: affordable waterproof boot, nothing fancy but works Disadvantages: no real protection
After passing my CBT I bought a lot of my gear online instead of going to a shop and getting them fitted correctly. These boots I bought online are slightly too big but that is not the manufacturers fault.
If I had bought the right size the boots would fit comfortably and have enough durability for everyday use without compromising too much.

The boot is genuine leather upper and 100% waterproof (some places say they are not but believe ... ...that it covers your ankle and part way up your shin. It has stretch panel inserts in ankle and shin for flexibility, Velcro calf securing at the side of the boot to ensure no water get in, adjustable ankle Velcro strap and a removable in-sole. The inner of the boot is thermal lined so these are winter boots really, there are no air vents on these so your feet can get hot in summer.
