...Hello, My name is Sam Brown, I have been riding off road since the young age of 6, I am now 16 and I ride every weekend and am an experienced rider. I started off riding quad bikes but very soon made my way onto motorbikes, and now I currently own a Honda CRF250r and I love it! I've rode big road bikes and I can honestly say the CRF will keep up with them on the corners fairly easily and it will accelerate past any road 250 on the straight. Honda are well know for their reliability and the CRF250r is no exception, I have owned mine for just over 1year and I can say its probably not had the easiest life screaming at the start gate of a race or slamming to the ground off a jump, but it has never gone wrong, I change the oil every three rides and the same with the oil filter and air filter and she's never missed a beat. Advantages: excellent torque and performance and excellent chassis
Disadvantages: riding position can be a strain after a fir bit of miles on a trip

In fact my dad rides a Suzuki GSXR-1000 K2 and he went out and bought an Akrapovic straight after he heard the difference between the stock exhaust on mine and then the aftermarket Akrapovic exhaust... Since I have bought my Kawasaki I have added a steering dampener, braided front back brake lines, Akrapovic Exhaust, smaller number plate and smaller indicators. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this bike and feel I definatly made the right choice over all the other 600 on the market. Advantages: all the fun of a 600, WITH MUCH MORE POWER!!!!!!
Disadvantages: Not quite as good finish as Honda's

...sexy but the beauty of motor-biking is the levels of personalising. I wanted a bike that looked sweet on both the track and on the road so I made a fair few modifications. I added a carbon fibre rear hugger, I realised that a hugger adds weight but it's a compromise. Carbon fibre is very light and in winter riding you will be grateful for this accessory as well as some carbon fibre around the tank and fairing. I changed my indicators for micro to add to the beautiful lines of the bike. I changed the screen to a blue one making sure that it is double bubble to increase air flow over my skid lid, as well as an Akropivic exhaust race system boosting performance and BHP. This exhaust system will set you back around £800.00 but think of the performance and the loud growl is music to the ears. I also had fitted HEL braided steel brake lines... Read review
